@BFG, I have came to a turning point in my life where it’s time to start a new chapter. I’ve learned that my obsession for bodybuilding has been killing my relationship with my family. And it’s time for me to shift my focus to what’s really important, and that’s family. I’ve neglected them for too long, and wish to step away from bodybuilding and the forums completely. Thanks for all the good info on this site, it definitely helped me along the way. But it’s time for me to go, so if you will please delete my account. I will not be returning. Thanks

Enjoy mate. Family first
We all come to different pinnacles and crossroads in our lives, I’m sure you’ll handle everything in the manner that’s best for you and your family. Just remember the community is always here, can’t hurt to poke in here and there and say hi. Best of everything to you bro.
Enjoy your family. Take ‘em camping
Godspeed, Bro!
Bro. You can check out any time you like…but you can never leave.
Props for recognizing the need to prioritize.
Best of luck.
@Swolder84 NO, EROIDS IS FOR LIFE!
Enjoy your 3 day temp ban.
But seriously get back to me in 3 days and if you still want to, and I'll remove your account.
OMG I've only just realised that now Pmob pointed it out!!! Complete with the cannon
Been here done that ha ha ha ha ha. It’s weird seeing the A10 as the profile picture btw……..
When were you last here lol, had that one for a while!
Hows it goin?
Doing great. It’s nice to see all the changes and growing.
Good for you swolder. I was never at your level but there was a time (2012,2013) I was really obsessive with training that I was on here and in the gym more than I was home or anywhere else. That had to change obviously and eventually when I came back every so often after taking several years off from the site, it was relieving to see the site as well as other members continued to thrive. Take a break, if you ever come back, we’ll welcome you with open arms and embrace you.
RustyhookerGood luck dude! Fam first is the best option. After kids outta school and house....cmon back
Best of luck buddy whatever you do!!
Wish you luck!
How old are you swolder
How old are you? I know you look like 20's
AnonBe 39 very soon
Goodluck man and remember you can always come back with some good life stories for us cause i know eroids has helped me with just as much family issues as juice help.
My bad brother, I was asking ole baby face Wanted his age since he asked you. Lol that damn @wanted
Man they say from 28 -35. But in reality its alittle over 45 but the gym and eroids and multi tasking had played a great role in my life. The gym and eating healthy had always made me a better man and father of 3 boys who are all grown over 18 -25 now
I remmber hitting the gym on weekends 530-6 am and sneaking back home by 7am to let them wake up to the smell of dads blueberry pancakes.
I gotcha. Your kids are lucky to have a dad young at heart. Cool man. Let us quit hijacking this post.
AnonLate 30’s brother
I enjoy eroids but we gotta put certain things into perspective at times and family is one of the those things that comes to the front of that list. And that's just the way it is and should be. If you still have your family it's never too late to make this decision
Anon@DeeMan I have enjoyed eroids, the community here, and all the information one can take in.
However this has been my obsession, and for the majority of the time it has came before anything. My training, my cycles, my diet, etc.
Too much of my time has been dedicated to this, while missing out on way more important things in life. I appreciate you brother, and our many good convos on here!
My time has just came to step away and start a new chapter.
Man trust me I appreciate you explaining this to the community but I completely understand 100%. Not sure when my time will come but when it does I'll make the best decision and I'm sure you feel the same brother. You're still young and it seems that you aren't letting life get too far ahead of you. Good luck brother
Stay swole, enjoy the fam!!!
Family always comes first. Wish you a happier road brother....
Took me a long time to realize that there is much more to life than bodybuilding. I missed out on a lot of great experiences I could have had with family and friends. Wish you well.
AnonThank you @Makwa, I’m hoping I’ve come to this realization before it’s too late. I’ve been lying to myself about it for years.
Give them a vote if you find it helpful.PermalinkBodybuilding can be a very narcissistic sport. We just tend to focus on ourselves with diet and training etc at the expense of spending time with family and friends. "Sorry I can't go camping with you this weekend because I have to train, sorry I can't go out to eat because it will ruin my diet" were sadly common themes.
AnonI’ve done this very thing you described above. I’ve either opted out of family functions because I wanted to hit the gym that day. Or I’ve gone to the gym after work, got home tired, and stayed home while they went to the park or for a walk. I’ve just been missing out, on way more than I ever realized before. I’m glad I’m not the only one, thanks @Makwa
