If you have the inclination to try just use short esters on a trial run so you can see how you respond and can make adjustments easier. NPP with testosterone acetate or propionate.

I honestly eat more intuitively than following a structured diet. Mainly eat less total calories, less carbs and increase cardio when trying to get leaner and up calories (more protein more carbs) and do less cardio if trying to grow. If I stall out when growing I eat even more. If i stall out when leaning down I usually will opt for more cardio vs dropping calories. More cardio > dropping calories imo.
Diet is mainly comprised of egg whites, chicken breast, ground Turkey, lean ground beef, steak once in a while, sushi and sashimi with the BF when we go out to eat. Whey protein when on the go or at work between meals. Carbs mainly jasmine rice, or yams. When cutting a secret of mine is to do a lot of breakfast burritos (large burrito tortillas only 35g of carbs per tortilla) and pack it full of egg whites and ground meat / diced chicken. I love heat so i usually top most meals with hot salsa or hot sauce. (Both are low calorie and 0 fat) when bulking I like adding a bagel with jam once or twice a day. And probably add in a pasta meal once a day. When growing I simply eat more of this^ and do less cardio. When trying to get leaner simply eat less and do more cardio. The leaner one gets the easier it is to stay lean <10% I find. Whether I’m trying to grow or lean out I’ll stay in single digit BF. Lean down to 6-7% with diet, cardio and the right hormones and then blow up and grow until reaching 9% with the adjusted diet, cardio and right hormones. During TRT cruising between blast phases I will just eat maintenance and try to recomp with TRT test + HGH. I will still eat yummy stuff when I want. Pizza, chips, burgers, tacos, cookies etc. just in moderation.
That's my kind of guy with that protein packed burritos and hot sauces! Man I love them. I even strongly agree with your aproach to increase cardio during cutting instead of lowering calories. That's how its done brother!
