+ 1 Animal protein vs plant protein
ad
Thoughts?
The primary reason why animal-based proteins are superior to plant-based proteins is because animal proteins contain 37% ESSENTIAL amino acids compared to the 26% content of plant proteins. To obtain the 10.9 grams of EAA found in 25 grams of whey protein, you would need to consume 30 grams of potato protein; 34 grams of corn protein; 37 grams of pea protein; 40 grams of soy protein; 48 grams of hemp protein; 49 grams of wheat protein; and 51 grams of oat protein. However, corn is low in the EAA lysine as is rice and hemp proteins. Indeed, all plant-based proteins are low in certain essential amino acids, except for one: potato protein

Is lysine beneficial or harmful for male muscle build? Body shape etc..
Animal protein>plant...if you feel necessary to get your protein from plants more power to ya. I don't understand why people make a fuss about it. I don't put too much stock in it. I tried plant protein and it blew nuts. I have a soy allergy lololol my stomach did not care for it. It was telling me what the fuck is this shit, eat a steak pussy lol.
Animal hands down. When you become a Gorilla then we can talk lol. Just bustin you. I’m actually looking for a high quality whey with a hood amount of Collagen if it. I have a membership to consumerlab.com and you would be surprised to see several top proteins are BS.
Gorillas are vegan but consume 20 to 30 kg of food per day it's all about volume, 3-5% of 20 to 30 kg is a-lot of protein.
Its always an interesting argument, the plant vs animal protein for building muscle and recovery etc.
I have eaten primarily plant based (only just introduced some dairy and some fish again this year) for the last 6 years. In that time I never found it harder to gain muscle vs when I was a meat eater. I have read some studies on the matter but they seem to go both ways.
I'm not saying I am 100% correct but I'm just going off my experience. Maybe it wouldn't work for some, who knows. What I do know is my blood work as a vego absolutely shits on my bloodwork vs when I was a meat eater.
whynot_meHey brother, interesting, it seems like since you a vegan or plant based, your experience shows bloods are worst and to retain your muscle mass it seems difficult, let me know about your comments, on why you switched to plant based
Interesting. I never knew potato was one of the most complete plant proteins lol
RustyhookerSoy mimmicks estrogen. Im not here for titties and milkies. I eat meat. And the poon too for dessert.
Rusty you are -- correct. Soy is for bitches in every aspect.
TricepatopsAlso most plant based proteins are going to be GMO. Not saying animal protein won't be either but take soy protein for example in the US they let petroleum byproducts to be added to it. They keep it under some specific amount but still who the duck would want that in any food they eat. Now if you can find NON GMO that is the way to go for anything. Also most plant proteins aren't complete proteins and you need another kind to make it complete. Also most of the plant proteins taste like shit
