+ 2 Basics

ad

Seeing some posts recently, I feel the need to get some basics down again in regards to safe practices. These are in no particular order, and although my education may be antiquated in 2021, I'll stick to proven basics that I see some ignoring.

Wash your hands. Should be self explanatory, but wash your hands, 30sec minimum under hot water with antibacterial soap.

Vial care. Always wipe the top of your vial thoroughly with alcohol. There's no debate here.

Clean your injection site. Wipe with alcohol, let it dry, but tberes no such thing as too much. Those expensive little wipes are cheaper than treatment for an infection.

SubQ. I keep seeing this, sub cutaneous injections are exactly that. Injection into the fat just below the skin. Sex hormones are the only medications I know of dispersed in oil. There's science touting frequent subQ injections of this, it does NOT put 1Ml of oil into pinched skin.

Arena. Neither my bathroom or bedroom is temperature controlled with a constant negative vacuum. It's in place for reasons. Not calling anyone messy, but containments travel. If you're doing injections in your bathroom, be careful.

Post injection. Wipe with a fresh alcohol wipe, I would say cover with a band-aid, but being transparent, I only do if I nick a capillary and there's blood loss.

Aspiration. Why wouldn't you? It takes three seconds and some of the harsher compounds will make you very uncomfortable if you have an open transport to your respiratory system.

Site injection. If you're new, stay away from your thighs until you get comfortable. I left this as last only after aspiration as it's very important. There's a lot going on in those quads, as important as site rotation is, I can't recommend quads for beginners.

Seeing new members which is awesome, try to avoid problems guys, use common sense. Cleanliness is next to godliness.

Best wishes,
Mol

I see a lot if people not aspirating. Which its so simple to do. Also not swabbing the injection sight, its so simple yet people argue about both aspirating and swabbing injection site.. Just do it lol

I see several members talking about aspirating. I don't aspirate pinning glute, but I do aspirated when pinning quads and delts. Maybe I've been pretty lucky, the worst that has happened is getting a hour cough after a pin. With that being said there's no medical studies showing aspirating to be beneficial. I only do it in muscles that are more dense with veins, and only because it seems to make sense. Old school I guess. I wld probably aspirate my glute, but I mess up tissue (causing pip and scar tissue) trying to multi-task back there.. no homo

The hour of coughing is enough for me to do it. Also just because there are no studies done on something doesnt mean slamming a cc of some gear and oil is good for your cardiovascular system and other organs. Just a simple thing to do, seems lazy not to

Lmao.. Multi-task! Yes.. just holding the pin with one hand, without moving it around, while assisting it with my other hand.. I find it to be a balance act... Don't let ur imagination run too far Mo.... lol

There are huge reasons to aspirate every time - First you DO NOT want 1ml of Trenbolone or an oral suspension in Guaiacol to be going into a vein or anywhere near blood unless you want to feel like throwing up for the next 2 hours. Second if you dump a shot of test into a vein that injection becomes half as effective as its not dispersing from an injection site over 24hrs its just going straight into blood. If you shoot short esters and you've ever had one of those days where you feel flat as hell with no energy at all its normally down to this.

This is why I threw it out there.. I knew we get some deeper info on why it is best to aspirate. These are some things that ive never knew.. There might not be proven medical studies, especially from a bb aspect, but plenty of informative personal experiences... Makes me feel better knowing it's really not a waste of time when I do aspirate. And for the record, I've not once pulled any blood into a pin from aspirating during all the years of multiple pinning. That's why I've always wondered if it was a waste of time. +

Yes ... I know alot of people pin in the bathroom. Its private and feels like a safe place to do ur most important deeds.. Just use some common sense. Clean surfaces prior to setup. Wash ur hands. Get a stainless steel medical tray to keep ut stuff on and work from. Contaminates are floating around, there's no way around this, ur just lowering the risk thru good hygienic practices..

Nice n simple but probably overlooked by some. Good post. Over 10 years ago during my first cycle , I decided to inject in my delt. Decided not to aspirate for any reason besides being lazy. Hit a vein and somehow managed not to pierce all the way thru it. Sustanon 250 is absolutely no fun intravenously lol. Then when I pulled syringe out, blood sprayed several feet across my kitchen. I’ve had more bad experiences than good with quads . Even with various websites and videos for info, I finally decided that quads are just not for me.

I’m not a beginner and quads are a no go for me I hit a nerve every time

I know my quads pretty good these days. There are definitely "no go" zones were nerves are everywhere. I learned this the hard way.

That shit sucks!!!

What size needle do you use to inject? If you use a big long needle like a Green there is every chance you will hit a nerve somewhere along the way, I use a 5'8 orange and never have any issues in quads anymore.

Yea I do aspirate I don’t understand why people don’t like you said it takes 3 seconds if you’re slow I hit a nerve in my left quad over a year ago and almost overnight my left calve atrophied still hasn’t came back no other reason it would do that that I can think of
