+ 4 Food = Gains

ad

I have been noticing people hoping on gear and getting mad at their results. I have a friend who was bitching to me earliar today about "I feel good, but I'm not getting as big as I want. Thinking of upping the dose." Everyone wants to cut corners and not bust their ass, but it takes time and effort. They don't eat enough and I'm seeing a trend of skippin compound exercises, except bench. And it always seems to only be flat bench. Daily protein values are a real thing. Deadlifts and squats are important. I always say food is one of the key ingredients to success with PR's, recomps, and recovery. But it just seems like people think I'm bullshiting them and they say it's the juice or genetics. 4-8 meal diet plan will put the weight on. Just got to be sure to include the cardio if you want the bodybuilder look.

If a fat broski keeps eating, he gains weight. If he stops eating as much, he loses weight. So if you workout and eat up, you'll gain weight. But if you workout and eat less or stop eating as much, you lose weight. Why is this so hard to understand for some? Guess I'm just ranting. Haters will say it's the "StErOiDs".

I love the burn from sissy squats. My second day back at the gym was today and I did legs. I’m kind of wobbly. My daughter thought I was drinking

Platz and other old school BB did sissy squats a lot. They would just hold on to something with one arm extended out to the side to grip it. And go ass to grass with just bodyweight.
Gyms have a padded piece of equipment with a platform which is suppose to be used for sissy squats.
The ROM and form is different and hurts my knees if I use it.
IMO the old school method is better.

This is so true. Half rep boys only get half the gains. I'd agree 100% on form being everything. Especially with the heavier weight. Idk why, but it seems like a lot of guys hate on pull-ups. They are a staple to strength.

Want a pump and a good workout? eat carbs! Want to recover from your workout? eat carbs! Don't forget proteins and fats)

Also remember that on top of eating a lot of good carbs, proteins, fats and nutrients come good quality supplements. They make a massive difference to your results. Also if you don't have a big appetite they make getting in a tonne of fast acting protein in the form of Isolate extremely easy. BCAA's and creatine/HMB will also mean you can hit big muscle groups twice a week and make strong results because you won't be as sore as if you are solely relying on food.

You right bro. I'm so use to protein being mixed in my shakes, with whole foods I forgot about those. Bananas, proats, peanut butter, 0 sugar almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and good old fashion protein with BCAA's. I use fish oil also.
