+ 2 Immune system, gear and corona (Update)

ad

So i know the world is currently busy with the chaos corona is causing, how it affects old people and people with bad immune system..

So my thought here arent people who are on gear their immune system is greatly decreased???

I researched a bit when we are using gear, our body is fighting the substances thus reducing its immune system greatly, how low is our immune system is while on gear? that is the question..

One of the biggest examples is when i used to inject test solo, i used to get a pip and test flu, my body will be fighting it and i will instantly get sick/flu, because my immune system is busy fighting it leaving the body severly exposed...
I honestly dont believe the % researchers and media is giving of people dying from it... ive seen live videos in iran where hundreds of dead people are laying on the streets and their hospitals are just full of dead bodies.
Do not underistimate this and believe the media folks.

All im saying is stay safe guys, and if u are planning a cycle i would wait a little till things get better.

Updated: a small video released today, Thanks Pale

This is true and a real possibility. I'd like to think if there was a "volunteer to save the human race by blasting off into oblivion" that i'd raise my hand, but when it comes down to it, there's for sure a good possibility that I would bitch out.

Ozninjaguy's picture

In a sense I actually agree with you - but for me it's not about wiping out the existing population through some disease (with the associated suffering) - it's more about population control - stop-the-fuck breeding. But humans are just an organic life form here, and like all life forms, procreation is a driving force. Every single living thing from bacteria, fungi, viruses, plants and animals are possessed with the desire to procreate. Every living thing on this planet is obsessed with and created for that one objective. Humans have evolved to the point where we have the sentience to look at how we are effecting the planet - but regardless, we continue to procreate. It's really not necessary anymore. Procreation is about the continued maintenance of the species - well, humans don't have to worry about that - there are more than enough. We just need to now slow down our continued breeding - but it won't happen, because people have developed this 'higher' sentience which tells them that they have a right to breed, and that their progeny will carry on their particular traits, and not those simply required for evolution. What's the answer? a disease that randomly and indiscriminately kills millions? Possibly killing some who can give answers and solutions to the global overcrowding? Rather than wish a pandemic on the world, I would rather see a world that realises that we are shitting in the only nest we have and takes appropriate action to remedy that....but hey...I'm a dreamer.

DfromPhilly's picture

I 100% agree. The part of me that was joking was when I was routing for a disease that causes suffering. And i'm half joking about Thanos being the real hero in avengers (HALF joking)...

But I do think we need to stop breeding as much and we never will. That's why my ideal disease causes no death and suffering, just sterility in like a quarter of the population. In an ideal world, they'd stop on their own, but I don't see that happening for all of the reasons you listed.

And I am holding up my end of the bargain. I have no kids, and both me and my woman have zero intention of having any. Admittedly it's not for those reasons alone, but it is a nice icing on the cake.

Ozninjaguy's picture

I got Thanos' thinking. It was an interesting concept.

Well mate - good to see that you are keeping up your end (of the bargain). The idea of a 'sterility' disease is interesting and already happening - look at obese people (millions and millions of them worldwide) who can't conceive. That's a pretty cute act of nature.

Greg's picture

What you fail to get is the difference between a pandemic/virus v. life choice or a statistical life hazard.
YOU CAN NOT REASONABLY COMPARE THE TWO.

2% of a virus that is 10 fold more contagious than the flu is hundreds of more times more lethal than .01% of the flu.

.05% of 10 million flu victims is 5,000
2% of 100 million corona victims is 400,000 (more contagious, more widespread)

Let the virus take hold and that could be an annual event. Our birth rate is only about 1% of the population annually.

But, as stated so warmly and affectionately, we could do with a smaller population... let's start with your family.

DfromPhilly's picture

fair enough.

either way im on board.

I'm willing to sacrifice for the greater good. i'll put my money were my mouth is lol. Sure no one WANTS anyone to die that they know, but if its' gotta happen and gonna happen then so be it.

You're talking to a guy that thought Thanos was the real hero in the avenger movies.

DfromPhilly's picture

In all seriousness, Greg. The part of me that isn't fucking around thinks it's something to watch, and sure it's a real thing that's a problem. I just don't think it's gonna end up being as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. You highligted a worse case scenario above with the amount of infected and total deaths at 2% (which is totally possible)...

I just don't think it's gonna get that bad. I think the death rate is going to go down as we learn more about this, and we'll figure out better ways to fight it, etc.

I've just seen so many things in my life that were over hyped on the news... the sky is falling, etc... that end up turning out to be nothing. You're like 67 years older than I am so i'm sure you've seen it even more than I have. And we fall for it and freak out every time. That's where my skepticism comes from.

Greg's picture

I agree it probably won't be a big deal. Exactly because we are treating it as a big deal. If you want to foster an attitude of complacency then...

Which doesn't mean if nothing happens that todays hype wasn't justified. It means it was prudent and worked.

vengar's picture

So far there's been 9 deaths in Washington alone.

DfromPhilly's picture

How many people have died from car accidents in that time in Washington alone? Shit, more people were killed via gunshot in Philadelphia alone during that time. ALOT more.

I also don’t know where you’re getting these numbers cuz yesterday it was 6 in all of America.

Immortaltech's picture

Its true, but thats not a way to compare it...more people have even died while riding bicycle if u wanna compare.. but its just not

DfromPhilly's picture

I feel like it is. I am totally half way joking in all of this.

But lightning in 2019 is still beating corona in America. 9 people is nothing. And they say a lot more people prolly have it than what is being reported.

I think it’s something to be aware of, and I think we should be hygienic and all that shit, but I’m really not sweating it anymore than I sweat getting any other sickness.

Greg's picture

There are 10 infected in the old folks home in Kirkland WA. 9 have died. That's a 90% mortality rate

Some steroids are immunostimulative. So they will actually boost the immune system.

Immortaltech's picture

True, i remember when i ran primo, i felt happy and great and never got sick on cycle 1.5yr ago, but primo is not what the majority uses...

Zalewski's picture

Firstly, wash your hands, sounds like a joke but seriously with us being at the gym so much your hands are dirty, so wash them. Secondly, I would not be majorly concerned unless you contest prepped or something of that nature. This is under the assumption you aren't destroying yourself with excessive gear use, I have only got sick while on cycle while running more gear than I should have been along with cardio, weights, and stress. If you're someone who seems to get sick a lot I'd say try and make every other part of your life as a means to boost your immune system. Don't under estimate the value of things like vitamins and a really good diet

Immortaltech's picture

True, as Bm mentioned below, exhasting our bodies, and in contest u barely get the nutrients u need to keep a healthy immune system

IrishMack's picture

Actually scientific fact, high levels of testosterone in men reduce your immune system not make it better.
There are numerous studies showing it to suppress your immune system. I can list 10 sites with data to back it up as well as my own personal experience. I have an over active immune system and since I've been on trt one of my over active immune system symptoms are gone. You think you are better because you probably take all kinds of supplements to assist your immune system. Stop taking them and watch how many times you get sick on cycle.

vengar's picture

This study says different: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-25694-0.pdf?origin=ppub

androgens should be treated as immunomodulators rather than implicit immunosuppressants.

The Standford Study is flawed, as stated in the link above, they used too broad of an age range. The men with low testosterone most likely had high estrogen, which is why they responded to the flu shot in a "similar" way as women. Older people also have a stronger response to the flu vaccine.

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/07/190716124851.htm
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/spotlights/2019-2020/vaccine-stronger-immune.htm

It's quite possible you get relief from your autoimmune disease, not because testosterone suppresses, but modulates the immune system, bringing balance between Th1/Th2/Th17.

IrishMack's picture

Right, testosterone is an immune system booster and regulator. That one study out of hundreds was spot on. I don;t have time to list the other hundreds of studies to prove anything, Believe what you want.

Immortaltech's picture

Ofc, when u are low on natural test and go on trt u'll feel better a thousand way, bro im talking about the heavy cycles, and hardcore training and people who get flu from gear which affects their immunity

IrishMack's picture

Here is an excerpt about exogenous testosterone or synthetic not natural and how it suppresses not boosts.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5075254/

The immunosuppressive effects of exogenously administered testosterone are well documented from experimental studies of nonhuman animal models (Duffy et al. 2000; Peters 2000; Poiani et al. 2000; Yao et al. 2003). However, recent studies and meta-analyses find mixed evidence that endogenous testosterone is an active immunosuppressant in free-living mammals (Foo et al. 2016; Nunn et al. 2009; Roberts et al. 2004). In fact, naturalistic studies often show positive associations between endogenous testosterone and induced antibody response, suggesting that males in good condition can afford to maintain both high testosterone levels and robust immune responses (i.e. positive phenotypic correlations) (Peters 2000; Rantala et al. 2012). These findings are bolstered by experimental work in a reptile model showing that immune function is enhanced when exogenous testosterone is paired with food supplementation, but without food supplementation exogenous testosterone results in decreased innate immune function (Ruiz et al. 2010). Importantly, testosterone is down-regulated following infection and tissue injury, making it difficult to isolate the effects of testosterone on immune function in cross-sectional studies (Christeff et al. 1988; Spratt et al. 1993; Spratt et al. 2006). While meta-analyses suggest that testosterone is overall immunosuppressive (Foo et al. 2016), there is still ambiguity depending on which aspects of immune function are studied, and whether the impacts of testosterone on immune function are direct or indirect.

vengar's picture

It says there is mixed evidence that testosterone is immunosuppressant ,it's difficult to isolate the effects of testosterone on immune function, and there is still ambiguity. There is NOTHING conclusive here.

Heard you get the Corana virus from lime disease ;}

addicted.to.pain's picture

The antibio will not be released untill the desired % of death count happens.

ahhhh really ?

There are 8+billion people on this planet, around 100,000 people are infected and approaching 4000 dead.

so tell me what is the number? because those numbers are low on a global scale and if people were going to start dropping like flies from this virus it would have already happened. These viruses start in china because that place is a petri dish of people and disease its a heavenly breading ground for viruses, but if you do a little research on the H1N1 virus it will give you the insight on what is really going to happen with the corona virus.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that swine flu infected nearly 61 million people in the United States and caused 12,469 deaths. Worldwide, up to 575,400 people died from pandemic swine flu.

the corona virus numbers will not make it far past those^^ numbers , if at all.

DfromPhilly's picture

I had swine flu (H1N1) back in 2009. It sucked and I ran a super high fever for a week. Like 103.9-104.5... but at the end of the day it was just a bad flu and I was fine within 8-10 days.

I’ll fuck corona virus up lol

IrishMack's picture

I had the Nola virus twice, first time almost killed me, second time it only lasted a day. I just had the flu for the first time in my life and that sucked. Corona virus is only affecting the very young and the very old as far as deaths, and those with Asian based genes, also those that have bad health too. It doesnt mean you're safe, it means if you're healthy you will make it
It's convenient that it's election time and they found a way to distract American people isnt it?

addicted.to.pain's picture

damn bro, glad you made it through that shit.

I've had legit flu once probably 18 years ago, it kept me down for 2 weeks straight bro 100+ fever the whole time. I couldn't imagine getting that shit again at my age, whew fuck that .

stairmaster's picture

All I worry about is that all whole wheat noodles and basmati rice at my local supermarket are sold out.

Regarding my immune system: I take 2-3g Vit C, Turmeric and 5IUs GH.

Immortaltech's picture

Yesterday i was trying to buy freaking eggs bro... all was sold.. unbelievable, im starting to think we'll die out of hunger instead of that virus LOLL

stairmaster's picture

That's possible, lmao!!

Spark's picture

I've heard several people recommend 2-3g of Vit C. I am going to have to try that out. Been sick several times this fall and winter. Already taking Turmeric.

Bearded_muscle's picture

Primo actually improves immune function. Also hgh improves immune function. I’m covered, lol.

But in all seriousness this is something to pay attention to. Especially when dieting heavily, excessive cardio, weight sessions 1-2 times per day. Steroids allow us to push our bodies into levels of exhaustion we wouldn’t be able to reach naturally. Late in contest prep you are more susceptible to common illness.

Bulkdaddy's picture

+1 good info... I didn’t know that about primo...

Owes a Review × 2
Immortaltech's picture

Its true, i was gonna mention primo, but not all of us are running it, i ALWAYS get test flu if injected solo, my immune system gets to 0 when fighting it, and as you said in general.. when we use gear we push ourselves beyond natural limit, exhasting our bodies, which will very much affect the immunity, making us vulnerable target to sickness in general

fusebox's picture

Good info BM +2
