Dad health problems

ad

Hello Eroiders,

I want some advise here, my dad is 54 year old now, due to health problems he lost 50 lb in the past 2 years, hes had a lot of shit going in his life in the past, war veteran, simply terrible life... visited doctors like 50x dumb bastards couldn't find anything with him, and why hes losing weight so fast hes 54 but looks like 80, problem here in EU they don't presescribe TRT or GH, I wanted advise is it a good idea to get him GH? and i dont mean this china crap, legit ones, maybe 1IU a day anti aging dose

I concur that you need a full blood panel done. Here in the US, you're looking at $1,000USD for everything. That kind of weight loss is severe, and easily could be attributed to a wide variety of conditions.

I don't know where you are in the EU, but you may have to travel. If his blood work comes back clean, or just low test and low hormones, your strategy is viable. At 54, you want your Dad to live WELL until 70. I know I have no desire to live to 90 rotting away.

Turkey is your best bet. Pfizer HGH is readily available, as are testosterone and primobolan.

The lads below have given you excellent information. It is very wise of you to take their advice into consideration.

Diet & exercise are always where to start, always, always, always. I'm personally convinced that weight resistance training (weight lifting) is THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH. (It doesn't "make" you young, but it "slows down getting old." We all get old, but when we lift weights our whole lives, our strength stays with us. Plus, the body has to work hard to repair itself from weight lifting. I'm convinced that all the biological systems in our body benefit from smart, intense weight training.)

From there, he'll have to address the brain. Try meditation, yoga, etc.

After that, if his appetite is still low, I'm under the impression that you don't need a prescription for cannabis where you live. (I only bring this idea to the table because it sounds like you don't have a doctor yet that could prescribe medicine to help his appetite. Besides, most appetite increasing prescription meds are "synthetic marinoid" based drugs that utilize cannabis in processed forms anyways.) If he's amenable to the idea of cannabis, it could help his appetite, obviously.

And I'll simply add my voice to the advice below: GET A GOOD DOCTOR. You need a doctor that will go through all of his blood data, and get a blood test done to see if it could be a cancer of some sort. The more data you have (from blood work) the easier it will be to help him make informed decisions.

Lastly, +1 to you for listening to the advice below. DO NOT give him GH or testosterone. That's HIS decision to make if the medical need (or want) is there. Thank you for listening to their advice.

Good luck, brother. Please keep us informed here on this site. We're rooting for you.

Good idea , because if you start your dad on testosterone or HGH and that caused more harm to his health you'd never forgive yourself . I think we'd all probably want to do the same thing to help the people we love but its best to try to get professional help .Good luck and I hope everything works out

You risk killing him if you self prescribe on the back of random advice from the interweb's finest anon bro's.

I mean... you havent even offered 1 detail but want to know about whether filling him with hormones is a good idea.... no bueno.

Find out whats wrong... look at full bloods for everything. Try find his low's within the ranges... look for inflammation signs etc. Yry see if thetr are aby correlations between the different hormone systems etc. Maybe look to his headspace for things like depression that will cause weight loss etc. etc.

Its time for you to do some heavy lifting with the books and keep searching out new doctors too, for him

My father in the past was shot somewhere around stomach area like 30 years ago, in the beginning he didn't notice the difference, but the older he gets the worse it is, doctors told him its the long term effect of that shot and the trauma's hes had in the past, bloods show low test levels but in the normal range doctors don't prescribe hormones no matter how low they are here in EU, he also has a very small appetite barely eats, hes lucky hes got a really big bone structure otherwise he'd look like a skeleton

I've heard GH anti aging therapy might help him out from several people who swear by it, that's why i'm asking for advise

giardap's picture

Well low nomal will affect him. As for the injuries, doctors know best. In Ireland we are so backwards its insane. The uk lads are in a way better position. Could a prescription from another EU country carry to yours? The brits arent out of eu yet so maybe there is something in that?.....?

GH wont be the solution. Anti aging effects are not what they are cracked up to be. Panamanian stem cell therapy is the future in that regard (for health not skin).

Consider this; whack a load of GH in, first effects; lose weight (fat), skin looks better sort of... vivid dreams. These are the stereotypical results on every review and also my experience. BUT for someone with depression or low test low estro depression, what donthose vivid dreams translate to? Horrific dreams, day nightmares, worsening anxiety all while losing more weight.....

Whats the point? Well dont make it worse for him.

You're right, no he's got very low bodyfat around 8% wont help him a lot, also for the prescriptions i don't think it does work here, Netherlands is strict in these kind of stuff

I would try to work on his diet first and get him exercising. Walking and hitting his rda on all nutrients. Agood vitamin to ensure his requirements are met.

Need much more info here and even then... you need a doctor. I’m sorry you haven’t had luck with the doc so far but it may be something that gh or test won’t fix. I lost my dad slowly and there wasn’t much we could do so I feel for you.

I agree mate, look around for a solid doctor
