+ 1 Golf ball sized lump from subq
I wanted to get some input on this as I can’t find enough info on other forums on how to get rid of this pain.
Here’s the background:
I had purchased 500 test e. I now realize that it was a terrible idea. I figured that because I handled pip with 300 pretty well that 500 couldn’t be that bad. Well.... I was wrong.
1st pin was in my glute IM and it was by far the worst possible pip imaginable. I could not sit down for 4 days without easing my way into it. I could barely sleep because it hurt no matter what way I laid.
I decided to try subq in my stomach because a lot of people said there was less pip and that it worked just as good as IM.
Now I have a lump bigger than a golf ball that hurts like a bitch and is not going away. I’m on day three. It’s kept me from the gym because If I even step too hard it throbs from the movement.
I purchased sterile filtered GSO and diluted the whole vial down to 250mg/ml. I did a subq shot on the side of my glute with absolutely 0 pip so now It’s g2g.
Does anyone know a way to get rid of this fucking lump? I’ve done heat and ice but I don’t actually know what the lump is composed of to research how to make it go away

I draw from the test first..than draw from the gso,,, so far no problems,, I just draw from the test first so I don't contaminate it

I'm not a big fan of Sub Q injections, but now that you did it hopefully it will gradually subside. if not go to a dermatologist.
AnonI have a doc that is a general practitioner I see for contusions aka hematomas (from injuries not pinning), he gets me in same day or next day when I call to drain them. Healing time is greatly increased. If I don't have them drained it takes a while for them to go away and turn into a nasty bruise, I'm also open to further injury by not getting them drained. From my experience it can take a while to get an appointment with a dermatologist, the last time I saw one it was a month before that had an opening. I've learned general practitioners/family doctors can get me in fast and do a lot of things for me. My PCP is a GP.

The whole point of higher dosed gear is to dilute with something of less concentration, which you seem to now realize
If it's an abscess, you should get it drained by a doctor. Is it warm to the touch? Is it getting bigger?
If it is just local swelling/irritation, you could try some ibuprofen, or some other NSAID. NSAIDs reduce inflammation (the source of the discomfort).
Yeah I definitely learned my lesson. I’ve had bad pip but I didn’t think it could be that bad. I used 250 for my first 2 cycles and 300 for my last and I was still able to function. This 500 is a whole nother animal.
It got bigger from day 1-2 but last 3 days same size. Tenderness when touching is gone but does hurt a little if I’m running or bouncing up and down
Contrary to the "drain a hard lump" advise...
If the redness is spreading, becomes a bit itchy, and the lump is changing shape; ride it out. It'll take about 2 weeks for the overdosed gear to "dissolve" to a point where it's only mildly irritating.
You've basically got what amounts to shards of glass (crashed, crystalized gear) irritating the area.
It got bigger from day 1 to 2 and it hurt to the touch. Been the same size for last 3 says. Now it doesn’t hurt to touch but it does if I was running or jumping. I was thinking it’s kind of pulling on the nerve endings in my stomach fat so that made sense. . It’s more football shaped now. I really don’t want to go get it drained if I don’t have to but I’ll give it 48 hours and if it doesn’t shrink at all I’ll probably go to the dr

There's nothing to drain. Ride it out.
Ok I think so too. I actually just got some amoxicillin for a backup in case for any reason it got worse. I’m not going to take it yet because I think you’re right.

As stated below, if it’s the size of a golf ball truly.... just go to doctor have it drained and learn from it.

Now I’m taking a full ml subq and there is no issue but I’m still worried about the size and pain. It’s better from the first day but now it’s day 5 and the last 3 days have been the same

Keep an eye on that if you don't see a doc right away. I've done .5ml test cyp, but not 500mg/ml..that's got to sting like a bitch. Subq sounds great, but you just wind up full of painful lumps, unless you're on a trt dose like once a week..at least ime. On cycle the amount of oil is far larger than the volume of a trt shot, so while it works on paper, it's not a great idea for us here on cycle.
Never ice your pin site especially high concentration gear..cold can cause it to crash, subq isn't very deep and high mg gear is more susceptible to crashing typically.
Molinin302Agreed, took me a while to get comfortable moving sites around, but was some of the best advice I've gotten. With that being said, I really don't see myself going sub-q with this stuff. I cannot see how oils would work properly like that?
AnonWell they definitely do, some trt patients even come off their AI because the release from fat is different than muscle. It's just not a good idea for pinning 5ml+ a week lol especially when you're lean..

If you've seen my posts I'm still learning things here , my education is antiquated, but I can't see the teaching in an oil injection that's not I.M. It's a pocketed injection that disperses into the bloodstream and absorbed over a duration. We all have deep muscle tissue, but our subcutaneous fat can vary greatly. when we start injecting heavier compounds into fatty tissue the delivery can vary greatly. I can't get on board just yet. Too many guys complaining of golf balls... And let's not debate I.U.s or cleanliness of injection sites, oils aren't meant for this right?
In all honesty it will go in time, normally takes around several days I find when its happened to me. But if its just not shifting and seems to be getting worse then get to a doctor where they will probably drain it. You know your body the best.
Thats why I'd never pin a oily solution s.q...
You should go to a doc as soon as possible!
If i read it correctly you diluted after the stomach shot so... At that concentration having an adverse reaction is very likely.
Also you forgot to mention how much you injected, normally more than 0.2 on a normal standard concentration is the gold spot, more than that in one shot will probably cause a lump.
I think that you propably injected more than that (and i hope you didnt do 1ML in one shot).
If the lump is hot and sore you need to go to the doctor.
It was .4ml shot. Everything was done sterile. Everything cleaned with alcohol properly. Probably a couple hours after injection is when it flared up, so pretty fast. Since the swelling in my glutes took so long I’m hoping that this does the same.
I’d see a proper doctor about this, if it’s the size of a golf ball anything you do yourself is likely to get infected.
Be smart, don’t play with your health.
