-1 Novice looking to compete in Physique competition. Looking for advice.
Hello all. Very new to the forums. I'm looking to compete in my first ever men's physique competition. Here to ask questions about it from those who have competed. Just some background. I've been lifting on and off for the past 12 years (since I was 15). I am just about to start dosing 250mg/week of Test C as a high-end TRT dose. Long story short, I took prohormones at 18 and it fucked me up big-time. Did not PCT properly. And have been off and on TRT for the past 5 years. Currently self-administering and not going through my doc, as I cannot afford his prices. Anyways, for those who have competed, what did your workouts look like? I'm very familiar with bodybuilding workouts. Calisthenics. HIIT. I know tons about diet. Keto, carb-cycling, macros, etc. I can't afford a trainer to prep for the contest, so I figured I would come here to ask about your diets and workout plans leading up to contest day. Also, do you think I can realistically win without cycling if I'm going up against people that are? Lots of questions I know, but any feedback would be very appreciated. Stay blessed y'all.

Everyone elses diets, workouts, training protocals are just THAT. EVERYONE ELSEs. What works for them probly wont work for you. A guy whos been training 20 yrs is is 75lbs past hia starting point taking lottsa gear, growth and other things is gonna be able to train waay longer hardr and more volume , recover faster and eat way more calories than you. So someone whos advice on that you should take is your own. By learning throgh trial and error. See what works for YOU. There are tips and tricks that are somewhat of a guideline for everyone but we all are diiferemt and respond to foods and training techniques differently. Some guys can barley eat many carbs without gettin fat, others have to smash hundreds of grams of simple , and complex carbs a day just to maintain weight..
Trt @ 18? BS.. I ran stupid ass cycles back in day and had Prohormones mess me up too.. I took a good pct and a long hiates and know what my Natty came back no problem.. seems like you wanted to be on trt which makes no sense what so ever.. Then I see you're wanting to run your trt @250 a week, makes no sense your doc should test you and get your numbers right. Then you know where you're good not just guessing game.. Honestly the competition on stage is tough bro even the Natty ones.. Physique is mostly about conditioning and posing.. It's a shame you did this to yourself. hope you have children already or don't want any
You're not going to get anyone to write a book for you on how prep for a show. You need to do some reading, a lot of reading! Then you need to formulate your goals as to how to bulk up, when and how to start cutting, and when and how to begin show prepping!

On and off trt. 250mg a week. No blood tests. Wants to be a pro yet doesnt understand how hormones work. Horses pull carts they dont push them. My opinion is start all over again and research what trt stands for its not called sometimestrt. Without bloods you have no idea what you are doing. If you are on and off then you are cycling. Good luck to you sir.
basskiller89I wouldn't let anyone tell you what you can't do bro, if you put in the work you can stand next to whoever you want, just be in the same conditioning and size lol
It's a real shame to be on TRT at your age. However, the most important part of the cycle (pct) is neglected.
