+ 1 If you could only use 2 supplements what would they be?

If you could only use 2 supplements to help recovery and aid training or Vitamins/cycle supports what would they be? By cycle supports I mean things such as Cod liver oil, TUDCA etc. I realise its quite a tough one to decide but it also gives an idea as to how important health is to people over training supps also.
My choice would have to be Whey Isolate and Creatine, with BCAA's coming in just behind.
I know its not long since my last forum post but as not many new ones are currently going up I thought I'd try keep people active and entertained and that it would be an interesting discussion

The protein powder I use pre and post wo has valine, leucine and iso-leucine, I'll have to check the amount though and see if I should add a little extra in.
Its adding the extra amount that has the effect - I use to add an extra 3g to each 12g BCAA drink that already had leucine in it. Really made a difference when I look back through my training logs as did adding BCAA's in general even though Whey powder already has them in. I just find BCAA's quite hard to tolerate nowadays with them being so acidic on the stomach ...
That's why i quit drinking bcaa drinks intra-wo, rough on my stomach and gives me the squirts, lol. That can't be helping nutrient uptake very much....
But the little that's in the protein doesn't bother me and I figure having that pre and post should be getting the job done, I'm gaining. But I might try some added leucine and see how that works, maybe it's not the leucine that causes the stomach issues for me - only one way to find out.
