Severe pain and needles in front lower thigh
ad
Hey all I think I created this issue by pinning myself in the thigh many moons ago when I was a newbie. Do you think this could have been caused by a pin in a nerve ? I’ve had this for about 18 years. It’s sooooo painful after 10 minutes standing in place. Walking or running no issue at all.

Rustyhooker18 years? Wheres your dr? We arent medical professionals here....
GlycogenGuyI don’t have a doctor. I thought it would eventually heal but it hasn’t. Guess I learned to live with it. Some here are medical professionals. I met a few docs on here. They may not say it in an open forum but they are here.
RustyhookerAhhh....riiight.....my err. Drs....lol....
Youre asking for neuro health and you need a specialist. Not the roid junkies.
Well nerve heals very slow. But would def heal in 18 years. I think your on the right track with nerve issue. Good advice given tough one
Yeah, I'm dealing with some nerve damage in my face right now, but the recovery time frame is 12-18 months. Luckily it's only causing numbness and not pain. 18 years seems way too long.
GlycogenGuyThanks Vet. It’s a bitch!
Sounds kinda like sciatica. Here's a list of the common symptoms:
People may experience:
Pain areas: in the back, buttocks, hip, or lower extremities
Pain types: can be mild, severe, radiating, or sharp
Pain circumstances: can occur due to injury or while sitting
Muscular: difficulty walking or muscle weakness
Sensory: leg numbness or pins and needles
Also common: burning sensation, foot numbness, or weakness
I'd get a doc to check it out, May be some treatment to give you relief, if not full relief at least partial.
GlycogenGuyHerp what’s strange from all I read I feel it should have weakness but I’m still as strong. Have you ever heard of Meralgia Paraesthetica? From my searches this seems like the closest but I’m only a web doctor lol
Lol . Sounds like something I would do.
GlycogenGuyCan GH help nerve damage?
Nah, haven't heard of that one, but it sounds like a nerve condition. I'd find a good doc and get it looked at. Honestly trying to self-diagnose with Google will just drive you nuts and have you think you're about to die, then you finally go to the doc and it's some simple bullshit and you feel relieved but like a total idiot, lol, so just skip the Google MD thing and see a real MD..
GlycogenGuyI’m with you buddy. I know I should but I’m one of those morons who only go to the doctor in an ambulance lol. I really should take better care of myself.
