+ 1 Can't Take Stimulants Because of My Anxiety/ Does T-3 Cause Speedy Feeling or Jitters?
What's up fellas? I've been suffering with bad anxiety for at least 10yrs now. I can't take any type of stimulants, pre-workouts, caffeine, or even eat a piece of chocolate or drink a cup of soda! I have it really bad. I'm currently prescribed zoloft, buspar, and xanax, to deal with the symptoms. I was always interested in the thyroid hormone T-3, and how it works. I took them for almost two weeks, like 5yrs ago, but it didn't seem to do anything, so I think they were fakes, because at the time, I was expecting to feel some type of jitters. Also, I didn't loose any weight! I did call a pharmacist to ask if T-3 did cause any jitters or speediness, but she didn't really give me a straightforward answer. She said that they would cause weight loss by speeding up your system, but she said they shouldn't cause and jitters or anything like that. Can anyone who has used them, tell me if they cause any kind of speedy or jittery feelings. From what I've read, T-3 pills are supposed to be great for loosing weight, and I've always been interested in them. So, if anyone who knows about using them, or has experience using them themselves, I could really use some advice, or just some general information, regarding the use of T-3 pills. I'd especially like to know if the T-3 pills speed you up, or cause any kind of jittery feelings while taking them. Thanks a lot guys, I could really use some help with these T-3 pills, and their effects!

i have never gotten jitters from it
What most people don't seem to comprehend about T3 is that is not selective in the tissue that burns up. It doesn't target just fat. It targets fat and muscle just the same. So what really happens is that after a run of T3 your metabolism is going to worse off because you just burned up a good chunk of muscle also. Sure you will lose weight, but it is not the type of weight you want to lose. Now it is going to be easier to gain fat once you are off of it since your metabolism is damaged.. Now throw in the potential thyroid issue and T3 is not a very good fat burner for average joes to be using.
JayD718Really. See these are the types of things I wanted to know. Thanks for the input!
Dominick77Right on brother. The average gym rat sees a competitor's show prep cycle and they see the T3 in there and think....hmmm....it MUST burn fat fast and quick, failing to realize that the prep also consists of copious amounts of AAS, GH and other taboo compounds which enables the competitor to utilize T3 without flattening out like a pancake. Thanks for taking the time to share some knowledge Makwa. I appreciate and enjoy reading your posts.
I didn't get the jitters from it but I got the heebee jeebee's from it.
basskiller89T3 is satan's mid cycle piss
Take a read of this - https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/thyroid-medications
If you suffer from anxiety this badly I wouldn't go anywhere near something that messes about with the thyroid as this is the control centre for adrenaline release etc which is effectively what fuels panic attacks and excess anxiety. Nothing works better for anxiety control than regular exercise - especially weights in my experience...
Good comment - I didn't realise that the two were inter-related. My reading shows that the thyroid does not control adrenal glands, but they work together. +1
Cheers man
Listen i take anabolics as a nurse. So I am no candyass...do not ever use any thyroid drug for weight loss...you have no idea what that does.. I could type for days...little upside...big ass downsides....permanently. if this thought arrives again ignore it..
I hear you about anxiety from stimulants. I've recently been under some pressure and I can no longer handle a cup of coffee, fuck I miss the stuff.
JayD718Yeah, right. For some people, anxiety can get so unbearable. People who don't have anxiety, don't understand how negatively it affects your life. When I have it really bad, I can't even get up the energy to shower, and I'll end up sitting on my couch for weeks at a time! I just recently started getting my life back, because my psychiatrist prescribed me Xanax, 2mg, 4 times daily. I can't believe it. I have my life back!
I know how you feel. I have it also. Sometimes I am unproductive, as you say, for weeks. Doesn't help that I am in the arts
But I guess that's just how it goes. If I'm on a good project, that is going to hold me together but if I'm burned out and then don't have the energy to create any project's it slowly spirals me down...
I'm on sertraline now, but tbh I don't like SSRI's. Don't sleep well after them and I can't fully relax, meditate as I can otherwise.
What makes a difference is higher levels of DHT. Next time when I'm in a hole, I think I'll try something like 50mg proviron for a month or two. Have you tried something like that before with such a purpose in mind?
JayD718Actually, I did use some Proviron years ago, while I was running some kind of test, and tren acetate. At the time I was really young, and I didn't even know what the fuck the Proviron was supposed to be doing, but I do remember reading about it, and I guess I liked what I read. I was very foolish what the way I used gear back then, which is why I ended up with Secondary Hypogonadism, or Low-Testosterone. But, I learned from that stupid way I was using gear, and I at least use gear a lot smarter now, with proper ancillaries. Im on Sertaline right now, at 200mg/day. Along with Buspirone at 30mg B.I.D., and temporarily I'm on xanax at 2mg Q.I.D. It's a struggle some times, actually most times.
I’d stay away from T-3... having a fucked thyroid is a lot worse than permanent shutdown of T production.
JayD718Yeah, fucking up my thyroid was another reason I had for not using it, since I have already fucked up my axis!
T3 pills are also great if you want to loose muscles.
Jittering and shaking is a normal side of T3, clen, stimulants. I just heard that high dosages of caffeine can cause anxiety , also caffeine revocation can cause this issue.
JayD718Yeah, speaking of clen, when I was like 16yrs old and fat, I got a gram of powdered clen. I've never taken it before at the time, so I decided to take a little before work one day. I bought a little cheap plastic scale, but the piece of shit didn't even work. So, I took a pen cap, and dipped the end of the cap into the powder and got a little bit, which I thought was a normal sized dose. I put in on my tounge and swallowed it up. In the very beginning, I was feeling kind of an average stimulant feeling while I was driving to work, but by the time I got half way there, I was way too speeded up, and was basically overdosing on clen. That little pen cap full, was way too much. I was young, and didn't really take into account that with pure clen powder, a mcg dose, can't and shouldn't be just guessed. Anyway, my heart was pounding out of my chest, I had extreme anxiety, I could feel my pulse pounding away behind my ears, on the sides of my neck, and I felt like I was having a heart attact! I drove back home and just went straight to my bed, and just laid there, sipping on a big container of orange juice for hours. This was when I was still living at home with my parents, and I didn't want them to find out, which is why I drove straight home and didn't go directly to the hospital, which now, I would definitely do, and advise anyone to do under those circumstances. It lasted for the whole day(about 12 hours), and was the most terrifying experience of my life!! I guess the lessons that I learned that day, were one, not to guesstimate the dose of a substance that is measured in mcg's, and two, it's better to go to the hospital and save your life, than to be in trouble with your parents! Ever since then, I don't and can't touch any type of stimulants whatsoever! I think backnon how stupid I was to not go straight to the hospital! However, I always though that T-3 was a fairly safe substance, that did cause certain parts of your system to speed up and burn fat, but that didn't cause the jitters and speediness!
Dominick77Unless you are a competitor who makes a living off your physique, I wouldnt recommend taking T3 or any other thyroid hormones. Losing weight is not hard and T3 or stims are not necessary in order to lose weight/body fat. Eat less and more cardio. In regards to your question, I have not used T3 or any types of thyroid hormones and cant say if it causes jitters or not. Good luck to you man.
JayD718Yeah granted, but I was just curious of the abilities of T-3, ya know?
X2! Best not to fuck with the thyroid. It controls more than most know.
OP...if you already have high anxiety best not to mess with this. I have a friend with an extremely over active thyroid and they are a bundle of nerves. Just hit cardio and eat good. Your body will thank you.
When I used T3 I had more energy and I don't get any side effects apart from increased body temperature and sweating but a lot of people can't tolerate it , side effects like rapid heart beat , irregular heart beat , irritability , lethargy . If your not using aas you'll lose muscle very quickly . I'd stay away from any drugs or aas if I was you because your taking zoloft, buspar, and xanax . Be careful with xanax , I was addicted before and it'll happen before you know it .
JayD718I've had my issues with Xanax when I was younger, but now I'm actually able to control the dosing, without eating the whole bottle within a couple of days! And you wouldn't believe it. Since my psychiatrist switched me from Klonopin to Xanax about a week ago, I feel 100% back to normal, no joke. I feel like a brand new person. He prescribed me 2mg, 4 times per day! I have a very high tolerance, because of all the abuse of benzo's, and basically, every other pill you could think of except adderall, in my past. Thank God, just about 5 years ago, I went to treatment and finally was able to defeat my demons! I've been seeing my psychiatrist for like 10 years now!
Dominick77Stay strong bro and thumbs up for living and learning!
RustyhookerCompletely against rules to chat narcotics. Read the rules bro. You know im down to keep neggin you
It's ok if it's in the context of the issues it caused and the problems of overcoming them... otherwise, the recovery lounge would have never been allowed to exist.
Dominick77Thanks for the info.
It's so interesting how different drugs that are so similar in structure work so differently for people. I am prescribed medication for ADHD, but I can only stand to take the one with the longest half-life (Vyvanse; 12 hour half life) because the instant release meds like Adderall make me extremely anxious and so "cracked out" that I am actually unproductive. Same with K-pin, xanax, Atavan etc. I know people who only respond well to the instant release and others who omg respond well to the extended release.
It's also amazing how easily people understand this paradox about pharmaceuticals but think that there is one generic way that all people respond to gear lol
"If take this amount of this, what will happen?"
Glad to hear that things are coming together for you
My feelings about T3 are like Snoop Dogs feelings about 7up and bitches
Never have, never will.
Need to know your stats (height, weight, body fat%, training history, training schedule, diet, goals etc.) before giving detailed advice. Also, certainly can't recommend based on the limited information given.
Here is what I can say though- I have used T-3 in the past and it did not give me the gittery, shaky feeling of a strong stimulant. While it will aid in fat loss, there are also numerous negative side effects. One of being that it will also lead to the breakdown and cannibalism of muscle tissue as well as body fat. Your natural T-3 production will be lower when you come off as it will suppress your thyroid's natural production while you are on thus increasing your chances of gaining back everything you lost (except for the muscle tissue) and your thyroid may never bounce back to 100%.
Personally, based on knowledge and past experience I would not recommend it to anyone other than a professional body builder (not that they would need my advice) who is using it towards the end of competition prep to shed an additional. 5% of body fat, or someone who was put on it and closely supervised by a medical professional.
I have no idea of how it would interact with your anxiety, but if I was a betting man (and I am) I would say that chances are much greater that it would be bad as opposed to good.
I the end, a solid diet and exercise program are your best bet for safe and sustained success. There is A TON of excellent information on here. Also, feel free to send me a friend request and I can help you put something together.
All the best
JayD718Well, even a fuckin chocolate bar will give me anxiety and the jitters! I have an extremely terrible anxiety disorder. My doctor has me taking 4, 2mg xanax (alprazolam) bars per day. Plus the highest dosage of Buspar (buspirone) twice per day, and the highest dosage of Zoloft (sertaline) per day. It controls my life! It really sucks bro.)
