WOULD YOU DATE A GIRL 6'1" TALL??
If any of you have ever spent any significnt time on a dating website, you may be keenly aware of how common it is for women to state (often quite bluntly) that they are NOT interested in any guy who is short (under 6')-- which blows my mind considering how hard it is to meet a good person of ANY height these days, and then they want to put height restrictions on it???? Brilliant move Sally--- I'm sure you'll find true love any minute now.
But as a guy, I've always thought tall women were HOT (of course so are short ones... and medium ones....and dwarf ones.... and....).
So me being 5'8" (on a good day... in high heels), I don't come across as a guy who could swoon women. Tom Cruise could, but they hid his height throught the magic of TV. In the real world, if you're short, you're FUCKED, especially as you get older. In high school, short is cute--- at 50+ yrs. old, you're just a creepy troll. UNLESS, of course, you have lots of money. If you have money, women will forgive ANYTHING.... as long as they get their shoes and credit card allowances.
But----- sometimes opposites attract and I happen to LOVE tall women. I have went out a few times with a girl who is 6'1" and when we go out, we definitely get the stares and whispers. I thought it would bother her, but she doesnt seem to mind at all.

I will be honest about this. We've had this conversation. She's said that because she already feels freakishly tall (I think it's HOT in an Amazonian way, but she doesn't listen to me), she wouldn't date someone that much shorter than her. But it's because she would feel inadequate, not because she has anything against guys under any specific height. She already feels very self conscious even after 4 years with me just because she has a good 2, 2 and a half inches on me almost.
However, short or average height women having a height restriction is just weird. I understand a personal preference, but being completely closed minded because of it is askew.
