Top cities to live in.

ad

I am at the point where I am thinking of picking my stuff up and moving. When you lived in the same place all your life and know everything and everyone things get old. I'm ready for a change and I know that is it. What is the best places to live? That you know of..

You need to be a little more specific about what is most important to you in a place to live. Some people love living in a big city, I can't stand to even drive through one.

Flint Michigan is nice this time of year

I love the Sault. Some of the greatest steelhead fishing in the lower 48 there in the rapids. Plus Studio Ten on the Canadian side.

Some of the nicest summers on the planet. Maybe not right in Flint tho, at night it can get a little crazy. They make the baddest HD trucks on the planet earth just inside city limits. Come do a walk through of the plant it will trip you out.

Baltimore bro Baltimore.

Odd,......... Canada had 3 in the top 5, ....... Oz & NZ had 5 in the top 10.
All places where gear is harder to find. What are we doing wrong ??

Surprisingly, I liked Fort Lauderdale when I visited there. People were very friendly, and physically fit. Plus, Florida just voted to legalize marijuana. No hippie.

^^^^ Your head is where mine is...Except I don't smoke weed though so I could care less about that.

Understand, it lowers my BP and kills a lot of my pain, so I like places where I don't have to be extra vigilant, you know paranoid.

Seattle doesn't get to cold or to hot mid 40s in winter mid 70-80s in summer now like Chicago said below good God that is the witches tit there

BigWA67's picture

Seattle is a very nice place to live lots of jobs

Greg's picture

Don't go to Seattle worst place ever. Go to Portland, that's the place to be. Everyone is talking about Portland. Yup, Portland, that's the place. Seattle sucks, Seattle bad. Portland good.

Don't listen to this Husky fanboy, he's brain dead from crewing across lake union every morning (got hit by too many duck boats as well)

....Minot North Dakota is good too.

BigWA67's picture

I worked in Minot for awhile very boring hahaha

333's picture

I almost took a job there years ago

BigWA67's picture

Lol I hate the huskys

333's picture

Lmfao one duck boat crash and that's all people think about hahahaha Portland is cool to visit they have good beer to he could be a cougars fan as as well my old boss played for Oregon ducks and he hated huskies and cougars lol

BigWA67's picture

Lol Yeah lots of both of those but there are some.outlying cities around that area that even nicer than Seattle and there is lots of of work in that state

333's picture

Lmao yup there is a lot of hippies not as much rain as people say but there is a bit of rain. Those hippies can make some good ass food though and if your into it lots of legal weed shops close to all the food places. I've never been into the weed part but love the craft beers

true grit's picture

It rains almost half of the year, as far as rain days go. Overall annual rainfall is not as high as a lot of places though.

333's picture

Not half the year where did you hear that lol but this spring is supposed to be the wettest on record so I'm told

true grit's picture

A little birdie told me so please feel free to fact check, lol. Seattle averages over 150 rain days per yr. 5 mo of rain days is pretty darn close to half the yr. BUT, actual annual total rainfall is less than a lot of states.

KMC's picture

I've heard it said, of people of Seattle, they don't tan,......... they rust.

Chicago; full of excitement and fun...

You can play Grand Theft auto in real time in one part of the city or, cross town and play Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed. Ed's there killing hookers so you can hang with him as well.

Hahaha. If you want to run large amounts of tren but have angry issues this may be your place the cops have a lot more bullshit than a guy beating up thugs in the ghetto.

Don't know exactly what you're looking for and or what setting but if you want one of a kind new orleans is the spot. Sure it has a few downfalls but what major metropolitan area doesn't? Oldest city in the country with architecture to match.

SenseiMiagi's picture

If you are looking for business opportunities, then any state that has legalized marijuana has potential. Doesnt matter if you smoke it or not, every industry can profit from it.

Other than that, it kind of depends on what you are into. Warm/cold, mountainous/desert, urban/rural, etc.....

J_Shmoney's picture

Charlotte NC is one of the nicest cities I've ever visited. Cheap too. Good luck man.
