Best workout regime when on AAS or SARMS

ad

Hi Guys,

I've been searching the forums, but haven't found a definitive answer regarding this question. What is the best workout regime when going on AAS or SARMS? Progressive overload? Super sets? Low weights & sets to failure? High weights and few reps? Any thoughts, opinions and insights would be appreciated.

When I'm on gear I try to do an average weight until failure. 6 days a week, hit everything twice. Eat like a horse. Nothing feels better than a super set when you're on gear with that deep burn!

I really like the "Go with what works for your body", however, if this is your first cycle, I had a thought. The volume that "works" for your body when you are natty will still work on cycle, but with improved recovery times from gear you may more left in you.

So I would say do the exercises the way that work for you, but try and add a few extra sets, maybe a drop set on the last exercise for the muscle.

Best of luck!

I can't really answer that because it depends on if you are training for strength or size. Two completely different training scenarios. The one constant though is what works off cycle is going to work just as good on cycle so there is no need to get totally radical and change things up alot just because you are running a cycle.

I agree with what birdgains said. the best routine is the one that works for you specifically. the only way to figure it out is trial and error. it helps to keep a log of your routine, how you performed (meaning weight and reps), your diet and even your sleep patterns. it can be time consuming and a tough habit to develop but it will help you dial things in faster and more appropriate. this is something I wish I had done early on because I would have saved time and made better gains.

based on your title, I have to ask. are you planning on running a cycle?

what has your diet been like?

are you under supervised care from a physician?

Thanks for the reply. I am considering running a SARMS cycle (my first). Over 40, diet in check - mildly hyper-caloric, 8-9 hours of sleep a night, working out 5 times a week. No physician supervision.

Everyone's body reacts differently. The key is finding what your body responds best to. Do some reading on "muscle memory".

What's your diet like?
