New gain plan. Let me know what you think.
ad
First thing, dairy and whey protein pretty much screw my stomach up. Also, I can't physically eat as much meat as I'd like to
My new plan is to eat 1 pound of meat per day with the rest of the protein coming from essential amino acids. I'm gonna split the meat into four meals. In between those meals I'll be slowly drinking a EAA/oats/fats drink.
The amino acid amount is around 100grams per day. Supposedly 5 grams of EAA's equals around 15grams protein (estimate)
What do you guys think.

This is off the wall. But if you are eating that much (and by the way at 5'8 250) you're a monster, you might need some help. You might want to look into Mk 2866 also known as Ostarine. This SARM has been used to vastly increase appetite.
I know well 245 usually at 11-12% fat.
Food enhancement helps but doesn't change full feeling which makes me puke. But 6000 during bulk is fine lol. Right? Ha!
I haven't used that before. Just ghrp. Eq. And this allergy mad they give to anorexia people.
Also echinachea (how ever u spell that)
gives you a pot munchies type feeling at certain dosage. Something to do with canibinoids.
this is all only my opinion, but EAA's dont offer a full spectrum of aminos. they spike certain aminos and can compliment a diet rich in complete protein sources, but BCAA or EAA's themselves are not complete protein sources. if your only eating 1 pound of meat per day, that is maybe around 100g protein from food. im not sure how much you weight, but im about 240-250 and i put down 350g protein daily. i do 7 meals daily of about 7oz meat. i have no problem at all putting away all this protein.
if your getting 6000cals per day and only eating 500g carbs and 100g protein, that means your fats are FAR too high in my opinion. that may be a big reason your digestion sucks. fats digest very slowly. the other possibility is that you are not eating nearly as much as you thought you were.
its obviously a very complex problem. but if your serious about building muscle, digestion has to be one of the more important, looked at factors. you arnt what you eat, but what you can digest.
I'm 5'8 240 11% fat. Usually around 245.
I'm confused. A complete protein contain all 9 of the essential amino acids. When compared to whey there's usually more which is why it's estimated that 5 grams EAA powder is equal to 15 grams complete protein. But, whey was shown to be more anabolic (around 6 grams eaa compared to 15 grams whey) due to what they suspect is peptides. So I'm still confused lol.
There's so much info out there that's very conflicting lol. My plan comes from many guys online that used humapro to replace most of their protein. If you Google "humapro to replace protein" I'm sure something will come up.
There so much out there when it comes to protein. Confusing ass shit actually.
There's a study that compares rice protein isolate to whey isolate. Only at 45 grams plus did it compare to whey, and I think I read that both were equally beneficial at that amount (ergo log) But lower amounts didn't compare? And I thought rice wasn't complete?
too much to process...
Vegetable protiens are incomplete...the only one that isnt is quinoa i believe...the trick is though if you eat different veg protiens together you can get all the essential amino acids ..a couple classic examples are beans and rice together another being peanut butter and bread im sure theres others ...this is what i read some vegetarian bodybuilders do...of course your not going to eat it all in regular food maybe you could mix a scoop of rice protien with a scoop of pea protien or somthing that adds the missing aminos
Yeah I know this. I wish I could post the rice study.
There's also a few sites that say the "complete proteins" thing is a myth. But I don't believe that.
Can I post the rice link or is that against rules?
I don't think there is an answer at this stage other than what we think MAY happen. Only one way to find out, and it looks like you've volunteered to be the Guinea pig.

RustyhookerTwin labs amino liquid. Compare label to tabs.
I'm using an essential amino acid powder by true nutrition. It's basically the same as humapro.
I know a guy that replaced most of his protein with this and got superior results. But that's him though. I'll look at the twin labs thing. Is it all eaa's?
RustyhookerIts the complete lineup of aminos. The doses of eaa was at or above the tabs I found plus the neaa.
And yes, pineapple and papaya are natural enzymes. Papain and bromelain. Good stuff.
I recently switched my whey and gas/bloat has been gone. On brand whey and egg. Whey isolate wont bloat you but the Whey concentrate is loaded with lactose. Check jerry brainums video for deeper look.
Thanks bud.
Right now it's around 110$ to get in 100grams a day in of eaa's in.
As far as whey, maybe they're lying about it being isolate. The isolate has caused me issues as well.
RustyhookerDefinitely look into digestive aids and foods first. Aminos are good but slow digesting proteins last longer. Cruciferous veggies help clean up the guts, more absorption of nutrients
this is definatly not optimal. if your digestion sucks, you really need to take a look at alot of factors. i did a write up on digestion not long ago.

Rustyhooker^^^^ +2
Also maybe pineapple is better papaya?
As far as digestion
Pineapple is the shit. No pun intended. But it better be fresh or its a no go for me
What about canned lol
Nope. Had a bad batch or something once. Tasted horrible I thought it was from something else and well let's just say I spent some time on the throne. Fresh is the only way to go for me.
Why not optimal. My calories are 6000grams a day while carbs are around 500.
I get enough fiber. I eat enough veggies in, and add a drink called green vibrance. Also I use papaya with all meals and take pro/pre biotics. Regardless of digestion helpers, you're lucky if you can put away 2 plus pounds of meat per dda and not feel full. There's still digestive times even with digestive helpers.
Awesome write up. I'm gonna read through it again actually.
Thank you
Mpots7If your digestion is bad look for things to aid in the process of breaking food and proteins down. Probiotics, plenty of water, spinach, pineapple. I'd say for most people that aren't diagnosed with being allergic or can't digest foods well don't have the right bacterias to break the food down. Just my two cents.
I agree but they can only do so much when eating 2 or 3 pounds of meat a day. Or am I wrong?
Mpots7Yea I mean that's true but there is no real comparison to food.
Well with whey, it's been concluded in a newer study that with food or whey, both are the same.
