ad
im currently on my first cycle. im taking 300mg test e twice a week, taking nolvadex daily also. my legs and my face have become puffy quite a bit and im wondering whats best for that, arimidex or aramasin. im not to bothered about it but wearing socks and crouching down at work can sometimes feel like its putting pressure on my legs. also when i take my socks off my legs stay dented in for a while lol

I am having the same issue, feel bloated and look puffy with test.
anastover helps to get rid of estro.
600mg of test a week on your first cycle, and no proper anti estrogen?? this is an excessive dose of test for a first cycle imho with a great lack of research and preparation. you need to get a good AI asap, anastrozole or arimidex. i would highly and emphatically suggest you read about anti estrogens, cycling, and low/high estrogen sides.
i do have a proper AI but was going to wait to around week 4 before i started taking it, as read on a few posts on this forum. i have arimidex but was asking whats best for the water retention because there may have been other options. i have been taking the arimidex since i posted this. i know its bit high for first time but was struggling to find any thing lower when i ordered as many were out of stock. i have read posts on all those. thank you for the concern, i really do appreciate it and any more info is very welcome.
edit. also moved down 0.75ml
With a dose that low, I would say you are very test sensitive. I'm in the same boat. Anything more than a high TRT dose - say 200mg per week - and I get the same reaction. I order pharma grade Aromasin from India, and it's hard to split up, so I just run 25mg eod and that takes care of it. Arimidex doesn't do much for me. It may not bother you, but do keep in mind other people my notice. Depending on your situation, this may not be good.
An as others have mention, blood pressure is a serious issue that edema can cause. If you want to stay in this game long-term, keeping blood pressure under control is critical. You'll note the most commonly prescribed anti-hypertensive is a combination of lisinopril and a diuretic.
Also, don't discount the importance of cardio. I know we're all busy, but even 30 minutes of hardcore sprinting or even an elliptical machine helps quite a bit.
Lastly, and slightly unrelated, I recommend everyone run trimetazidine on cycle. It's inexpensive, and proven to reduce cardiotoxic effects from gear. It basically prevents heart cells from depleting ATP, which is the basic energy cells use. This is the origin of many heart attacks. So, if you're going to order some Aromasin from someplace like reliablerx pharmacy, which you should, order some trimetazidine too.
600mg of test is not a low dose of test. and NO OPEN SOURCE TALK in the forum!!!
Thank you for the reply, advice is thankfully received. i will get my blood pressure tested and hope the AI cuts down my water retention asap. I will look into trimetazidine also as im trying to do my cycles safely, regardless of cost.
How far into this cycle are you? You better get on your AI ASAP? Nolva isn't an AI. Watch your BP with all that water retention.
im 3 weeks in and i ballooned up after about 10 days
Agree with Swolediger. However Vitamin C 500mg am and 500mg pm. This works for bloat from test etc but if you've very high estro then use an ai. Why the question? What's your blood work say? And cut out that bread.
i want to get a test done for testosterone & Oestradiol right? i just found a clinic close to my house that does this stuff.
Are you UK based? Yes you want to know your test, estrodial, renal/electolytes, lipids and liver function tests if your running orals. If you're on a 19nor you should check your prolactin levels.
Yes im uk based
i will try do bloods next week. im not sure the best way to go about getting bloods done. go to my doctor or get one of those finger prick tests online. ive tried finding info on getting bloods done but couldn't seem to find much tbh, must not have looked in the right places. im currently on about 80mg vit C am and 80mg pm but will up it. i have done a lot of research but i knew i might hit a few snags during the cycle.
SwoldigerWhat.is your diet like. Cut back on sodium and increase water intake. Arimidex or armosain will both help but you would be surprised how making a few adjustments to the diet will help as well
im trying to keep my diet semi-clean (no cakes or high in sugar foods) but i have just googled and seen some of the stuff i eat is high in sodium. i will cut these out and replace them with something else. things like a pork pie that i eat every day at work is very high in salt. i used to struggle to gain weight in my 20's so i have some foods that need looking at and swapping out. i also seem to eat a lot of white bread, didn't quite realise how much until now.
