+ 1 T3 with HGH or not?

ad

I found a very long reply in this link: just looking for some First hand experiences and answers
ok taking out the link and copy and pasting Part of the article

this says take t4?

Last few sentences of article:
So we want elevated T3 levels when we take GH, or we won’t be getting ANYWHERE NEAR the full anabolic effect of our injectable GH without enough T3. And now we know that not only do we need the additional T3, but we actually want the CONVERSION process of T4 into T3 to take place, because it’s the presence of those mediator enzymes that will allow the T3 to be synergistic with GH, instead of being inhibitory as is seen when T3 is simply added to a GH cycle. And remember, we don’t only want T3 levels high, but we want types 1 and 2 deiodinase to get us there- and when we take supplemental T3, that just doesn’t happen…all that happens is the type 3 deiodinase enzyme shows up and negates the beneficial effects of the T3 when we combine it with GH.

And that’s where myself and Dr. Daemon ended up, after a week of e-mails, researching studies, and gathering clues.

If you’ve been using GH without T4, you’ve been wasting half your money – and if you’ve been using it with T3, you’ve been wasting your time. Start using T4 with your GH, and you’ll finally be getting the full results from your investment.

thanks
I been ON for 3 weeks and I get Blood done thursday, once I have those resulkts back I'll post for your opinion... will 3 weeks of HGH be enough to accurately tell about my T3 and T4 Levels?

i'm upfront with my Dr. -- but he doesn't know about hgh - others than the Dr basics

I really couldn't tell you if that's long enough to effect your thyroid. Will know by your bloodwork tho so make sure to post it up. What's your gh dose? And sre you running pharm grade or generic?

This is something Ive spent so much time researching over the last year and while there are some actual medical studies that relate to this and not just broscience i still havent found anything conclusive. This theory you're reading is just that, a theory put together by some very knowledgable individuals. So the theory sounds solid, but real world experience tells a somewhat different story. Especially the "if you’ve been using it with T3, you’ve been wasting your time". The t4 theory is somewhat new and t3 has been used and still is used by bodybuilders with their gh and by the look of their physiques they have not been wasting their time. If you do some googling you can find the experiences of guys who have ran their gh alone, with t4, and with t3 and most say they couldnt tell any difference. I had thyroid panel pulled after being on gh for probably 10 months at various doses usually between 4-7ius ed and they are correct about GH speeding up the conversion of t4 to t3 resulting in high levels of t3 and low levels of t4. My blood work was in range but my t3 was at the high end of normal and my t4 was at the lower end of normal. But the results i was getting on the gh was still pretty dramatic so i saw no need to supplement with anything.

Remember thyroid hormones are very catabolic, so having high levels of t3 could be potentially detrimental to holding onto muscle while dieting if not careful and vise versa it could make putting on mass very difficult due to the increase in metabolism. But many do use t3 while bulking to increase metabolism and therefore protein synthesis.

So bottom line is bloodwork should be used to judge if supplemental thyroid hormones are needed. I believe its really dose dependent. If you're using a low dose I dont think it will effect your thyroid to the point these guys are talking about. But on high doses supplementing might be necessary. I just cant find anyone out their who has ran it alone and with t4 and said the gains were dramatically better with the t4, or even anyone who's noticed a slight difference between running t4 with gh as opposed to gh alone. So I'm not sure if its something I would try.
