ad
Hi all,
I've hit a wall with regards to eating chicken & was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for making it a bit more interesting & tasty.
I currently have three 200g servings per day as part of my diet with a couple of squirts of BBQ sauce.
Any advice/tips greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, have a good wkend.

Marinade in olive oil lemon garlic pepper for 2 hours in fridge.
Chargrill it.
Simply,simple!
I love chicken grilled with soy marinade.
dropdzzCavinders Greek seasoning with salt for most days and without for contest prep.A little rice bran oil and grill pan it .
Sriracha rules them all!
Flavor God seasonings. Grill on stove top with olive oil and 0 calorie buffalo sauce. Or with veggies such as peppers to add flavor.
In a crock pot, dump a bunch of frozen chicken tenders, pour Italian dressing over them (about 1/2 bottle), let cook for 6 hours. Great for bulk cooking
My personal fav..
2 tablespoons red curry paste (or to taste)
1/2 cup peanut butter (mix these two)
1 can of light coconut milk (mix with above)
In a big frying pan or slow cooker - dump this over vegis & diced ckn (I pre cook ckn but in a slow cooker raw is fine) and let simmer. I use mainly snap peas, broccoli & grean beans but whatever you like. Eat alone, over rice, spaghetti squash.
Sounds delicious and pretty easy actually! Now that the weekend is almost upon us, I'm going to try and make this haha!
Grate black pepper over it then grill that shit!! Could add lemon juice too for a tangggg
Boil your chicken takes all the dryness away, I like boiled broccoli (so.its soft) mash it and.mix in with a. Lean curry mix. Easy to eat and tastes good!
Nice!!!! Im trying this
If your good with the BBQ; try smoking your chicken. Low and slow all day in some apple cider or other juices and wood chips. Start in the morning and you've got fall off the bone chicken for dinner!
Here's a site I use for recipes and tips (I'm a born and raised Weber charcoal girl):

At my grocery store there is a Hispanic section that has "goya brand poultry marinade it's a citrus flavored marinade. Gives the chicken a delightful tatse.
Mrs. Dash.. cant go wrong with her many flavors haha i love the southwest and the jalapeno blend.. Just gotta make sure you make some juicy chicken. Oh and ill sneak a dab a BBQ sauce if the chicken is feeling to bland.
Low fat natural yoghurt, light coconut milk and some mild curry powder, turns chicken and veg into a light korma style curry, I find low fat yoghurt a great cream substitute for making sauces just add whatever spices ya fancy
Cheers Steve, that sounds really good
I don't know if your doing low carb or not right Now but kraft makes flavored bread crumbs and cheese packets. Works just like shake and bake tastes pretty good. Also just throwing it on the grill with a good rub will change the taste dramatically.
Boneless skinless breasts in jerk marinade for about 4 hours, then throw it over a hot grate, or coals... 5 minutes per side... Awesome!!!! Rotate a quarter turn at the 2.5 minute mark, if you have to have grill marks.... I could care less ;-)
Cheers T, do you worry about getting a low sugar/salt/fat marinade or just go with whatever?
Concerning sodium, yes... (I probably should pay more attention to that) but I usually go with whatever sounds good ;-) I won't use it if it's over 800mgs of sodium per 2 Tbsp.
srmbnw01Melt butter...dip chicken...sprinkle lemon pepper and bake.
Also McCormick's has a tasty lime citrus marinade!
Try lemon chicken,,,simple and tasty.
My advice man. Make a blackening spice. Mine uses cayenne, paprika, cumin, salt, garlic powder, dried oregano, and brown sugar
Cheers Ted. Funny enough I'd come across that sort of thing while looking about on Google, looks good.
DeathstrokeAdd Adobo seasoning
Can't do all that high fructose corn syrup...recently started smearing hummus on boneless skinless chicken breast and it's a decent change of taste
Franks red hot buffalo wing sauce!! You guys are bringing back to pris talking about tuna... Forcing dry ass tuna pouches down post workout or dousing it in BBQ sauce or table sugar... Those memories haunt me... Way worse than the rapings. Jk
You put it in a shake with protein and your favorite cola and blend it and pound it!!!!
Seriously I like it with rice and franks hot sauce!
Lol. You read my mind, I was just thinking I could follow iFit's suggestion, blend it & neck it. I'm a big fan of blending, to much effort all that chewing business, lol.
Just to clear up something I was taking a page out of Vikings book on this little pun. He suggest taking a can of tuna and blending it with coke and pound it several times a day. I think Ifit was expounding on Vikes original concept.
Personally one of my favorites is a can of tuna doused in red wine vinegar. I eat that stuff all day long so I do not understand the reason for blending it unless you just can't stand tuna which a lot of people do not, in which case it is a brilliant idea!!!
Lol. I remember reading about that but honestly unless I slather the tuna in some mayo that's gonna come up faster than it went down especially mixed with coke and all that carbonation.
Yeah, I've done a lot of Tuna Shakes only with water though. Saw a program back in the 90's about Eddie Ellwood & he was knocking them back so thought I'd give it a go, to my surprise I loved it + 2mins it's gone.
Before that I used to just eat it out the can plain but that got old pretty quickly. Would be interesting to try it with Coke & the chicken too.
Try cooking it with some low sodium chicken broth, garlic, spinach, mushrooms and broccoli. After it cooks, let it sit an hour or two to get more flavor.
Cheers iFit, could cook quite a batch of that at a time & could even toy with blending it & having it as a drink.
Hope you like it as much as I do. I try to eat healthy but no way would I eat nasty tasting food just because it's healthy.
I'm sure I will. There's not much I don't like that's the problem, lol
.
If you can find it and dont mind simple carbs.. Look up Mae Ploy and marinate your chicken in that... The best
That looks/sounds well nice & is available in the UK. Cheers Konig
Tink22Sriracha.
Sweet chili sauce.
Cheers mate. Do like a bit of sweet chili actually, although I'm not man enough for the stuff that sets your bum on fire, lol
