Unfortunately, this study report doesn't show dosage and route of induction (by mouth, IM, or IV), of UDCA, but I've used it with great results when doctors were doing ultrasounds looking for "abnormal liver growths," and were ready to order a liver biopsy--Yikes!

PS: You nailed it: the true lesson to be learned is that oral 17aa steroids are not safe in general, and although there are many who will tolerate them well, there are also many for whom they are very harmful, and it creeps up on us insidiously, secretly, below the threshhold of felt symptoms!

But just for me, I don't place any faith in Ayurvedic herbal preparations about which there are no stiludies showing that they work. The whole term "liver cleanse," is pseudo science.
I know there are plenty of folks who swear it's helped them, and I'm not taking issue with that, or them. It's just that I'm a skeptic with scientific training so, especially with the recent scary blood tests I've gotten, I wasn't and out to use anything like Liv52.
IV or IM? UDCA is basically bile.. pretty sure it's oral only.. good luck putting that in your vein or muscle LOL
I was an RN. There are all kinds of ways to make all kinds of things suitable for IV use. Crackhead wants to IV some coke? Acidify it. Add lemon juice or acetic acid. Most things can be taken from a raw powder like UDCA and used intravenously or Intra muscularly.
I did a quick search for "UDCA human intravenous."
I didn't have time to read the hits, but here's one that I THINK mentions IV use in humans.

Ar-r.com also known as Rui.com have it. They are identical websites. Same company. They sponsor many boards. They have some really good products but they also have some shit products. And they also are expensive. But they do run a lot of sales. It's rare you have to pay full price for anything. If you just wait for what you need. Guaranteed everything goes on sale eventually. And you won't wait long. But thoroughly check the reviews on "that" specific product before buying it

AnonGood read thanks. Never used udca but tudca has always kept liver enzymes in check. I usually run a combination of tudca, nac and SAMe.

TUDCA, as you probably know, is UDCA conjugated with Taurine. UDCA is the prescription pharmaceutical that doctors use to prevent cholestasis, and treat it when it's already extant. TUDCA is good but it's not pharma, nor is it as strong. That it worked for you says a lot.

Yaa I can get it also thru a RC site. The stuff tastes discusting tho I had nolva from them along long time ago. If were thinking of the same company. Maybe it's worth using next time.

This probably most effective liver detoxic supp out there. Highly recommend when on orals. Nac is also very good detox. IV glutathione is another detox, pure glutathione, I see some bodybuilders using as well, has to be admininstered iv and not orally though.

P.S.: Dude in the first report was also drinking a CASE of beer PER DAY in the year prior to treatment!
But I hadn't drank any alcohol for many years prior to mine; neither does it say Dude #2 was drinking.
