+ 1 TRT endangered...
ad
My ex is a pharmacist. She went to a seminar yesterday, and the topic was TRT. I'm sure youve seen all the lawsuit commercials claiming heart attack and stroke due to TRT.
Well, its gaining ground. She said the FDA is working on puting new controls in place, and changing the classification on testosterone. In a nutshell, dr's are going to limit TRT therapy moving forward. I guess the controls are already in place with estrogen therapy in women, and test is now joining those ranks.

The big picture is the feminization of men. Anything seen as male nowadays is wrong, society sees maleness, and the cause of it (testosterone) as the source of evil in the world. Looks what's going on, women of the year has a penis, cops are bad (usually big men), women in combat, anything seen as purely male is something that needs to be stamped out by some folks with an agenda. Making TRT as difficult as possible is just another piece of the overall strategy, why in the world would they want TRT to exist, something that makes men more male?! The lines are being blurred with the genders and boundaries fluid. Soon if you're a guy and want to become a trans-gendered, you'll probably have less trouble getting estrogen, than if you're needing TRT.
That's my rant for the day, but I'm almost 50, and have seen this world become something I never thought it would. It's a freaking sitcom.
The studies are complete and they have found no correlation between TRT and heart attacks or any other heart issue. They did find that men who have Low T actually have a higher risk of heart disease and that putting them on TRT to move their T back into the normal range lowers that risk down to that of the general population.
The ammunition is found to be without powder.
I know this thread is eight months old as I comment now, but I gotta add my two cents.
I'm American, and I find it completely heart breaking that many sources discussed on this site will sell test cyp for literally 25% of the price that the medical & government establishments charge.
PLEASE DON'T THINK I'M ENCOURAGING NOOBS TO BUY TEST FROM UGLs! I'm not. I'm simply lamenting that our establishment is so fucking corrupt.
I've always been pretty liberty minded. I'll do what I do, you do what you do, and let's agree to live and let live. But the first rule of liberty is DO NO HARM. Are you dumping wastes into rivers and fucking up ecosystems? That's harm. Are you literally gleaning wealth from working class citizens who in our case simply need medicine? Fuckers. That's harm. My lovely government doesn't give two shits about me, you, or anyone else that's not in it's circle jerk top tier.
Super sorry for the negative mojo, friends. This site has been the best education I've ever gotten, and LEARNING BRINGS HOPE. We have to take care of each other, because as the late, great George Carlin said, "it's a small club (at the top) and you ain't in it." How right you were, George. Thanks to all of you on this site who have shared knowledge, experiences of successes and failures, and let's keep taking care of each other.
You know what it is truly sad about big pharma and govt fucking us over. Like you said from a ugl I can buy 50ml of test e/c shipped for $125 a year of trt. For the price or less than one bottle of test e/c from the pharmacy and the ugl still makes 20x profit per vial. And yes granted ugl can sometimes be hit and miss. But lots of mass spec has showed ugl can be accurately dosed or overdosed for that price. America pays the most for medicine out of any country in the world. Without insurance antibiotics are ridiculous. The same price for one script of antibiotics I can get 4-5 courses of name brand antibiotics shipped from overseas in original packaging. Its complete bullshit they don't need profits like that. If your poor enough the govt pays for the medicine. But if make .50 cents over minimum wage you don't qualify for any kind of help. The way the country is going makes me sick. Sit at home refuse to work, get a free house and food and paid through tanf program. But the minute you get a job your cut off from all the programs when you still need a little help for a few months to get ahead and stay ahead. What. Incentive do people have to better themselves if they can just be lazy and get paid and fed. Eating better then most of us busting ass, with several hundreds in food stampsna month they sell for cash. Its get punished for contributing to society and pay taxes or he rewarded for riding the system. Just like women can pop out unlimited number of kids and get paid for it free house money etc. On top of all child support. Tons of food. No incentive to work and lose free house no bills and free cash. Its bullshit should be give help to the people trying to help themselves and better there lives. When your getting back on your feet is when you need the most help
Last week 2 10 ml vials of Watson Test Cyp 200 mg/ml , cost out the door......... $82 ,
GoodRX coupon @ W***reen's, ,.................without coupon to F'ing much.
nice rant!
@CBBurr, it was a rant indeed! I cannot tell you how much this site means to me at this juncture of my life. Eroids was literally started to HELP TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE. Sure, a person could make a snide comment, "this is all about black market sources" blah blah blah. Nope. If you look at the core of this site, it is literally 99% based on helping, helping, helping.
I really believe that "the medical establishment" is made up of hard working, very smart men and women, but the whole system simply sadly has its hands tied by government bullshit and pharmaceutical money. God bless America, but God Damn Uncle Sam.
I'm self employed, I work my balls off, I lift like a mule, and I am one of these not so lucky men in our nation who seriously feels the awful symptoms of low T. After dropping a few thousand bucks on blood tests and doctors appointments, I got serious about educating myself about the human body, TRT, etc. This site and been invaluable to me. Without it, I'd be a depressed idiot.
That little magnifying glass up there has been the best education anyone could ask for, and I haven't had to take out a four year loan to learn.
All of that information was not taught by professors, but rather by men and women from all ages and all walks of life who are all here for the same reasons. Learn, teach, and fucking HELP EACH OTHER! My gratitude is deep and sincere, and of course most probably obnoxious to some readers here, for which I apologize if anyone finds me obnoxious. I just wanna do my part to help this site expand in it's education and help others like I've been helped.
If you're like me and you simply want to be the best version of you that you can be, welcome to eroids. Make yourself some tea and dive down the rabbit hole. You'll start in the gym, head to the kitchen, learn about smart hygiene when dealing with AAS, what to do, what not to do, and you'll end up right back in the gym and kitchen where good health is really built. It's a hell of a trip, especially if you like iron. Cheers!
it shits me that men are just supposed to suck it up, stay silent and move on.
I don't think they'll try to make testosterone a CII. I say that because medication schedules/classes are based on the medication's therapeutic benefits vs it's abuse potential. Example Penicillin has excellent therapeutic benefits and no abuse pototential so it's a C5. Xanax has therapeutic benefits, however it also has some abuse pototential so it's C4. C3 and C2 drugs have more and more abuse potential respectively, whereas drugs such as Methamphetamines, Heroin, PCP all have a very high abuse potential in addition to not having any therapeutic benefits. So I don't see why the FDA would believe that testosterone has a much higher pototential for abuse due to certain patients having a heart attack.....
If Testosterone becomes a CII (schedued 2) that will no doubt decrease the amount of scripts written for it. CII scripts must be hand written on a triplicate form, signed by hand(not stamped or printed), and picked up from the Dr.'s office as delivered to the pharmacy in person(not faxed). Also no refills would be allowed therefore at the very least you'd have to go back to the doctor to pick up the script every month. Also I believe you only have 5-8 days to fill the prescription after the date it is written for. Hydrocodone was changed from a CIII to a CII last October, and I have already seen and heard of many doctors only writing scripts for tramadol or codeine(both if which are weaker than hydrocodone)for a lot of their patients. I think that due to the fact that writing scripts for CII meds are a larger pain in the ass. Therefore if this change is made it's possible that doctors will start administering injections in the office in lieu of prescribing them. Another negative consequence of this almost brought up by an earlier post, and that is that if the rescheduling occurs that would place testosterone in the same schedule as drug such as Morphine, Demerol, Fentanyl, Dilaudid, Adderall, Ritalin, etc.... Now the punishment for illegally possessing/buying/selling a CII is the same as it is for a CIII, however the rescheduling would give TRT critics more fuel as they continue to attempt demonize TRT.
leave it to the government, they'll find a way to make more money for their people treating the symptoms rather than the problem
Sounds like they may try and make it a schedule2 drug, and its currently a schedule 3. That lumps it in the same class as oxys etc. means a monthly dr. visit and no more than a 30 day supply...this is just speculation.
I used to get 10ml bottles of watson cyp for my trt but the last two refills have been 1ml bottles. They will only give a one month supply at a time. The pharmacist told me this is because of some sort of new classification. I think It is a pain in the ass...in more ways than one.
X2
Same here. It's a pain in the ass. Most I can get for 1 refill is five, 1 mil bottles. More co-pays as well.
Strange,..... just last week I picked up two 10 ml vials of Watson at my favorite "legit" source, you know, the one with the big red W.
All the lawsuit commercials have to come from actual lawsuits.
Assuming fat out of shape people who can't get dick hard so they jump on test and then blame their heart attacks on the testosterone instead of the 35 years of mcdonalds and coke.
Smh. Doctors and pharm companies get screwed trying to legitimately help people.
Thats the truth right there.
I will try and find out more details. She rattled off all the technical terms with regards to the new controls that are coming. I asked her "what about all the men that need it?" She said in theory they could still get it, but doctors are going to be shying away from actually prescribing it moving forward due to it becoming a liability.
I imagine finding a doctor to actually prescribe it is going to be the hurdle. Black market is always going to be open, but what the hell does a 70 year old man know about buying test on the black market and proper dosage???
in answer to your last question about 70 year olds, ............, give me 8 more years and I'll tell you.
**shaking my head **
RustyhookerAnd government wonders why black markets exist?
What's going to be the alternative for those who have been on for years?!
Clomid, Hcg is what mostly be pushed. My endo was telling me.
Fuck, that's not good!
Fucking bs! It's ridiculous!
