well it is well known that there is different meanings to many words, it isnt the words themselves but the text they are used in. if you want a response from dictionary text then use them as such, putting them in a post with today's lingo is gonna get you today's responses!
Very true. And one key element to an argument like this is the difficulty in deciphering someone's tone in print/text. IF you don't know the person or aren't familiar with their mannerisms , it's easy to mistake something being said for malice or anything opposite of what they meant. Simple grammar and punctuation can totally change the meaning of sentences. Example:
