+ 1 Intermittent Fasting/8 Hour Diet

ad

I am currently on my 2nd week of "The 8-Hour Diet". ( I did not buy the book)
I'm feeling pretty good, other then been somewhat hungry in the morning. I wanted to see if anyone had tried the intermittent fasting with AAS? I am planning to do so in the next month after some trials and errors on my eating discipline.

I'm currently intaking 3,200 calories daily
50% Carbs
30% Protein
20% Fat

I live by a similar eating plan. What is your goal? Are you trying to bulk, shred, or recomp?

Thanks for the response! I was trying to bulk on this regiment, but its a bit difficult to shovel that amount of calories. How many calories are you intaking and how long have you done it for?

When I am bulking, I take in around 4,500 calories. I also, do carb backloading and stick to a six hour eating regiment. I work out in the morning, so I do a large PWO shake that has fast carbs, but then dont eat anything else until about 6 in the evening. At night, I eat whatever I want, which is normally a couple pound ribeye, ice cream, granola, maybe some candy. i have been doing this for around a year, but only recently upped the calories to bulk up. The main reason i like doing this, is the weight you gain is all muscle. i have a slow metabolism, so when i use to eat enoug to bulk up, i would always pile on some fat. Eating this way has allowed me to put on 20 lbs of muscle, without any change in my body fat. I have yet to see just how much weight i can put on following this way of eating, but it is working so far. i find I have more energy through the day, when i only pile in the food at night. eating large meals all day long always made me feel sluggish, now I feel great. Disclaimer to anybody else that may read this, I am not recommending this as healthy or working for the majority. I am simply stating it works for my body. Figure out what works best for your own.

Thanks for the info and sharing your experience. 4,500 is what I want to consume, but is difficult for me.
I wanted to hear someones experience on the topic. I usually do a zig-zag eating plan with 6-7 meals per day, but after reading the claims of intermittent fasting I wanted to try it. I as well could feel that I have more energy through the day thru this regiment of eating. Thanks again for sharing +2

Thats what Im hearing to. My issue at the moment is fitting the calories within the 8 hour window.
Plus, increasing the calories in the future is going to be a bitch. For shredding tho, I can see how effective it could be.
