As some of you may know, Vike and I are lifting partners. We train together, we eat together, I sleep on his couch, and he has me on his cell phone plan, and I let him cut my toenails. Vike is like that Great great grandfather that I never had. If I'm feeling shitty, he gives me a prune and tells me a story and shit gets better that's how he rolls. Needless to say he's one of my best buddies.

Something that struck me the other day as we were doing incline dumbbell bench is something that he is always saying..
"Ed, Be the turtle...Be the Turtle."
It always catches me off guard as I'm pumping out incline flies with Vikes custom 200 lb dumbells. I'm pumping and Vike starts saying..."Oh yeah Ed, be the Turtle...Be the turtle baby, Turtle that shit! Come on Be the turtle! Oh Turtle Turtle, Turtle!." Shit was starting to piss me off and I didn't dare say anything because shit, he's Viking Pierre Cousteau..(Yes that is his real name.) You don't question anything or he kicks your ass. I've been there and an ass kicking from Vike is always followed up with cuddle time and that shit is never fun... I digress...
So this shit keeps happening while we lift, and he says that shit "Be the turtle Ed..Oh yeah baby Be the turtle." Shit kind of creeps me out. I never understood what he meant until last nigh when I was digging through Vikes laptop and found a folder titled..."Be the Turtle"
Oh shit kids, what I found there was fricken gold. Now I truly want to be the turtle.
