How long for IGF-1 to return to baseline after discontinuing HGH?
ad
I am about to start a 6 month long HGH cycle. But I know already that I have to stop using HGH for 2 weeks about 4 months in, due to some personal reasons.
After ramping up properly I plan on doing 5iu/day until those two weeks off. Do I have to ramp down before these two weeks? Also, after those two weeks how do I have to start again from 2iu/day and ramp up like I did in the beginning or can I jump right back in at 5iu/day?
After discontinuing HGH how long will my IGF-1 levels stay elevated? I mean, in order to elevate them a few weeks of HGH administration are recquired, so shouldn´t they also return to baseline slowly?
I am pretty new to BB and all this stuff, so please help

Question - IGF-1 levels upon stopping GH
Your IGF-1 levels do not drop like a stone after discontinuing GH, it's similar to how they rise upon administration and would probably take three weeks to 1 month to return to baseline. My personal experience.
Question - Do I need to ramp down then ramp up for a two week suspension of GH?
No. Your GH system is not like your HPTA system. Your pituitary will continue to secret it's normal level of GH while you supplement and your body is not going to desensitize and resensitize to GH in the span of two weeks. You can discontinue the 5 IU abruptly and resume the 5 IU in two weeks and you should not experience any of the side effects of initial GH administration. My personal experience.
AnonThank you for the answer also. I'm also wondering what a good baseline IGF-1 level is? My recent baseline bloods show 199 (fasted in the morning). Is that considered high for natty? I haven't run HGH yet as I'm waiting on getting seen by my doc for some high bilirubin levels that show up on my report. I'm mainly doing it for the healing properties and the good state of well being I've read about here. I had a motorcycle crash last year and I just think it would help out a lot. Thanks.
