+ 1 High Carb Day Cake!
I will make this every now and then for a healthier dessert on high carb day. Tastes delicious and is easy to make!
1 box Betty Crocker or Pillsbury sugar free cake mix
1 can of Diet soda
Prepare mix as directed on box, but use Soda instead of the other ingredients (no oil, no eggs, etc.) Bake as directed- cupcakes work really well too.
It comes out light & fluffy! My son will even eat it. I like Sprite Zero for vanilla or banana cake mix & diet coke for chocolate cake mix.
Banana & chocolate cake tastes awesome with pb2 (or normal pb depending on your diet). Vanilla cake with a little 0% plain Greek yogurt and cinnamon is good too. I've even tried making "icing" out of protein powder mixed with a small amount of water until it's thick and spreadable. Satisfies the sweet tooth without killing your diet.

Sounds good!
After reading this, i immediately sent my wife to the kitchen
AnonI need a wife to send to the kitchen lol
Good idea, certainly creative.
Coke with cake. It really tastes good? That sounds so nasty
Try a yellow cake with Mt. Dew. Delicious! U will want to eat the entire cake yourself!
Lol I can't even cook man. My cooking skills are limited to eggs, steak, chicken and salmon on the George foreman, and rice and baked potatoes in the microwave. And it doesn't even taste good, but it gets the job done.
AnonYou don't really notice it- it doesn't taste like chocolate cake with diet coke, you just taste the cake mix. With sprite and vanilla cake, it just makes the cake a little lemony.
So obviously if it's sugar free cake mix and diet soda, then this recipe is loaded with artificial sweeteners?
AnonSure is.. It's meant to be a healthier "splurge" instead of hitting full fat options.
Alrighty, sounds interesting
