Flinstones

AnonGreat ape or was it grape ape..beegly beegly
I used to get up at like 5:30am because that was when Rocky and Bullwinkle show was on. Loony Tunes was my all time favorite tho.
I also loved that after the cartoons it would usually be the Three Stooges or Laurel and Hardy, etc.
Welcome to ADV Level Nooka!;)
Thank U sir
DBZ
Defenders of the earth
I also watched this one called Ronin Warriors, it was pretty bad ass
No mention of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Hells yeah. The original movies were also great.
1 and 2 were awesome, 3 was ok. I hope this new one Michael Bay is doing will be good, although the story line is completely different.
Me personally I was never a fan
How dare you!
Ha
Used to get up super early for Saturday cartoons lol. Had a lot of channels we had one of those giant ass satellite in the yard.
Thunder cats
GI Joe
Smurfs
He man
Looney tunes
Transformers
Transformers was a good one
Lmao
They don't have them anymore because they have like 10 cartoon channels and the internet and Netflix.
And yes the new cartoons suck. On boomerang they show all the old-school cartoons. My overall favorite was Scooby Do. But here is a list of my top favorites:
Transformers
The Go bots
Mask
G. I. Joe
He Man
Thunder Cats
And all the Looney Tunes
Good times then!
He Man, talk about homo erotic things for boys as a child. We would go to the Unity club and play pool and watch thunder cats and He man. But this was about the time I started to notice girls more so cartoons started to take a small back seat lol.
Not to copy but same toons watched them all
Is it me or are a lot of the cartoons nowa days geared towards stoners? Even the kids stuff I see on looks like it could only be enjoyed by someone stoned off their ass killing a bag or doritos
spawn, gargoyals, spiderman, batman, cow and chicken, scooby doo, dexter's laboratory, and darkwing duck
your getting a little to new for me at least.. I did watch a little cow and chicken that made me laugh
Attack of the Killer tomatoes
Swamp Thing
The Racoons
Midnight Patrol
Bill and Teds Excellent adventures
X-men
Dungeons and dragons
Beetlejuice
Captain Planet
Toxic crusaders
Pro Stars
Thunder cats
I was going to ask if anyone remembered the Dungeons and dragons cartoon?
First I watched the Test pattern for a half hour or so...
Then, turning the dial to surf 3 VHF channels and one UHF channel, I'd try and watch as many of the following before my mom would kick me out of the house.
Bugs Bunny Road runner hour
The Rocky and Bullwinkle show
Scooby Doo
Jonny Quest
Top Cat
Davey and Goliath
Gumby
George of the Jungle
The Banana Splits Adventure Hour
Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines
Wacky Races
Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids
H. R. Puff n Stuff
Schoolhouse Rock
Hong Kong Phooey
bro I would not miss the Bugsbunny road runner hour for nothing..
back in the day it was completely different. they only had the WWII vintage cartoons that were primarily shown before a movie at the theater... Another thing that has gone and replaced with commercials for coke and tv shows.
We had an old antenna out side on a pole that I would have to go out and turn to get certain TV stations. We lived way out in the country and didn't have any cable.. We got 3 stations and if it was not raining we could get the 4th station..
Cable didn't exist. There were only 3 stations, CBS, NBC and ABC. I remember the scepticism when FOX attempted to be the 4th station in the mid 80's - no one thought they'd make it.
Back in the 60's and 70's and most of the 80's, everyone had an antenna on their rooftop... the "rich" folks would have a little motor that would rotate the antenna to help tune in a station
You forgot the great space coaster; the electric company, Captain kangaroo. And i thought I would never live to see another day where I would see that screen again. I still remember when switching channels on you cable tv meant using a "slider" and then trying to get your tv tuner stuck in the middle so you could watch the pay channels without paying. Good times.
Oh and BIRD MAN AND BOY LOL
If we were lucky, with the right array of rabbit ears, coat hangers, and tin foil, we might get a second UHF channel that had awesome movies... abbott and costello, lewis and martin, the stooges, oliver and hardy, francis the talking mule, Ma and Pa Kettle...
Dean Martin celebrity roasts, Johnny Carson, Rat Pack. Whoops; getting off topic.
I can barely remember watching Johnny Carson I was born in 77
I fell asleep to Johnny every night as a teenager; A package of crackers; a glass of milk. I would take my ottoman and prop the cushion so I could lay on it in front of the TV, my other favorite was the Benny Hill Show late night. I made sure to get all the episodes on dvd so I still watch them from time to time.
I graduated high school in 77
Well we are all getting old
Damn the batman animated series, xmen, spiderman, thr beetle juice and ghost busters cartoons!!! Transformers!!! Gi joe!!! FTW
Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Catdog, and all those classic 90s Nickolodean shows.
X-Men was another favorite too.
AnonWhat happened was we all became man childs and moved onto watching family guy.south park ect...thank fuk to..kids cartoons are shit these days .always waiting for a anvil to stomp some of these stupid characters out nowadays when watching with my own..dont hapoen though:(
Word! The new cartoons suck ass.
X5 cartoons suck today ..
Anyone remember the Rambo cartoon? I found it odd that there was a cartoon spin-off for kids of an R rated movie. Yeah...I remember dumping half a box of Cap'n Crunch or Lucky Charms in a big salad bowl and going to town in front of the TV watching Saturday cartoons while the parental units were konked out.
No I don't remember that one?
