So whats involved in getting that super cheap chix beef and pork for our bulking? Snippets
Tyson Foods, America’s meat factory.
Tyson, one of the nation’s 100 biggest companies, slaughters 135,000 head of cattle a week, along with 391,000 hogs and an astonishing 41 million chickens. Nearly all Americans regularly eat Tyson meat
In 1930, whole dressed chicken retailed for $6.48 a pound in today’s currency, according to the National Chicken Council. By last year, partly because of Tyson, chicken retailed for an average price of $1.57 per pound — much less than beef.
Chickens are bred to grow huge breasts so that as adults they topple forward and can barely breathe or stand.
10,000 hogs produces as much fecal waste as a small city with 40,000 people
health concern is that antibiotics are routinely fed to animals and birds to help them grow quickly in crowded, dirty conditions. This can lead to antibiotic resistant infections
So A local famers market chicken is costing about $22 Around HERE.
I'm all about farm to table;e, but I need protein. AT what cost though?

If you have enough property get an Astralian Shepard that's bread for herding. After the pup is trained 1 yr old get some chickens and you want need a pin for them the dog will Shepard them, just let them free range. If the dog is trained right he will never bother the chickens and will keep coons, foxes, etc...away. I've had this senerio for 3 yrs now and it works great. Fresh eggs and chicken with all the nutrients.
Wow bro that sounds awesome.
None of us can do a 180 overnight unless we rich LOL But I plan on switching over to game meats . I ate alot of deer this winter. I want to start hunting. Then In a couple years start a homestead. Chickens Goats maybe pigs.
Once I can see my yard again I am starting a nice garden. Everything as organic and farm to table as possible.
Sounds awesome. I wanted to get a doberman but it would prob eat the chickens. They are just beasts.
Oh yea game meat is fantastic. I'm a avid deer hunter to.
waltrim jealous...
sounds like heaven to me.
I have the exact same concern as you. I've been trying to eat all natural but it's so expensive and hard to do.. Some of the practices we do in the USA that "the government says it's safe for consumption" has been outlawed in other countries ..
OHHH yea... Some really grey line shit in the meat world

I have lived in major cities my whole life until the last few years. I moved out west into the country.
Gotta try to find small food co-op's and farms to get your food from. Or at least support local products and try to stray away from anything thats if'fy
I love crab avocado mango salad, but we have to be realistic about what we are putting into our bodies.
Ya dude, you can't trust shit the FDA says. All they care about is lining the pockets of the processed food manufacturers so they get their kick backs. I saw a commercial on TV just 2 days ago saying they came out with a new study showing corn oil is healthier than olive oil. (****EXPLETIVE DELETED) (FRUSTRATION). Im not surprised it came out just weeks after the meat gives you cancer study either. Gotta keep tye masses confused. Gotta get those people off all the healthy stuff and back on GMO processed shit so they stay fat, sick and complacent!
You nailed it on the head here. Keep them alsleep. Proper diet and nutrition is the key to health.
