+ 1 Skewered Beef and Scallions
this is an easy one. I have been very deep in the net lately reading about gear. I forgot I was posting a recipe a day. Lets see If I can catch up!!!
makes 10 servings
Marinade
4 FLUID oz soy ( I use Braggs Liquid Aminos)
1.5oz Turbinado(raw sugar)Or sub honey or molasses (if using turbinadeo bring soy and seasme oil up to heat and gradually incorporate until disolved)
2fl oz seasame oil(or deca :p)
1/2 0z minc garlic
1/oz oz ginger
ground black pepper
Sprinkle red pepper flake
BEEF
3lb 12oz (go four!) Top beef butt, or flank steak (I LOVE SKIRT STEAKS!) Hangar also!
6 bunches of green onions cut 3.5 inch long
Method
Combine marinade
marinade overnight
Soak bamboo skewers(I go overnight)
preheat grill..400-hot!
Oil Grill
Grill, turn 45, grail, flip turn 45 test. Off. Less than a few minutes watch your meat yo!

TIP make 2x recipe of marinade. Set on 1/2 to side. Reduce in pan. Brush skewers with every turn.

Anonyou going by weight or volume on the garlic and ginger?
HAHAH pro chefs dont weigh or measure shit...LOL but I would go by weight. I eyball it in my hand then taste it ;)

Simple food is the best most of the time
Like I tell everyone find your local butcher, get to know them. They just threw out Beef chix etc right before closing. Get in there and get some specials. Learn there name, ask about there family. Get the Skirt steak marinade it, and make some skirt steak tacos with pico de gallo and guacamole.
This week for my birthday I will be fishing in the local river, the smoking salmon later (I probably wont catch any fish lol) I buy the salmon the day before. Form a pellicule, then smoke it baby. yea!
Oh damn i'm hungry!
