Why don't you ask how can I clean my gear. Ie filter my gear. Instead of looking for sources.

What are your sanitary conditions.
Do you do the following

1. Filter your gear with a Watson .22 filter?
2. Do you take a hot shower before injecting?
3. Do you clean the vial before and after you draw with alcohol? Yes cleaning it after you draw is important.
4. Do you clean the site before you inject?
5. Do you clean with alcohol after you pin and place a bad aid Atleast for one day?

Theirs many factors to an infection not just the gear.

Man I'm sorry to hear that, really. I've had a few subcutaneous abscesses, but they've always cleared themselves up. I imagine yours must have been within the muscle though?

Must be nasty. I always use betadine, and sterile wipes, sometimes the gear just isn't clean, and if you don't pin deep enough it leaks into the skin.

you cant get that info in open forum, must be hygeine or technique , i used to only use pharma, i remember getting a 3 day infection from it, ive used ugl for 5 years now with no issues. try using bandaids. and fill out your stats...
