Going Home
ad
I was in a horrible wreck on Feb 4 that shattered my left femur, fractured my pelvis, bruised my kidneys, spleen and pancreas. I also have transverse fractures on my L4 and L5 vertebrae. As of now, I no longer have any stitches or staples left in my body. I will be leaving the hospital tomorrow to begin the real recovery journey.
Oh yeah I did 3sets of 15 lifting my left foot 3 inches off the ground and was able to get from a Physical therapy table to the floor and back off the floor by myself. BOOM. Beat that Shit!!! LOL

Damn bro, sorry to hear about this. Good luck on your road to recovery. Looking at your truck its hard to believe anyone could survive that. We're all here to support you!
Sirk1981Thanks. I'm feeling so much better now that I'm out of the hospital. Still hurting like a MOFO. But the change of scenery was necessary.
Good God... Saw the pic of your truck :| brutal T bone. Best of luck for a good recovery. When I was in 6th grade I broke my leg and was in a cast from toe to mid chest lying flat on my bed for over 6 months. They didn't place plates in my quad coz they thought it'd be overkill coz i was so young and my bone would grow and fix without plates. The worst time of my life just lying there. Dunno how I spent it, tv, video games, caring loving mother.
Sirk1981Thanks bro. My Mommy is the one taking care of me too. Lol
Sirk1981You are right. I'm glad mine just has to play waitress and just grab stuff for me. I can go to the restroom and bathe myself. I just really need someone around so I'm not moving constantly. I'm so glad I can wipe my own Ass
seems like a lot of people on this forum are getting fucked up
Sirk1981Worst part about my wreck was that the weather was great. No rain, sleet, snow, or ice. Just some asshole that had to cross 4 lanes to hit me broadsided
Sirk1981BOOM!!! I was released from the hospital and have made it home. Now the real recovery can begin. I would like to thank everybody for their support while I was in the hospital. Yall keep lifting and make sure you do a set or two for me
I saw your pics from your accident (I think I'm going to be sick!). I was in an accident a few years back and was laid up in the house for several months. It was fine for the first few weeks, but I started to go a bit stir crazy after that. Just be patient and let yourself heal. Wish you the very best of luck and a quick recovery! PM me if you have any questions.
Sirk1981I'm going stir crazy in this hospital after 17 days. I'm glad to be going home today just for the change of scenery. Thanks for the support brother.
Netflix was a big help. I watched entire series of all kinds of old shows. I also read some nice books. Even with these things, you start going crazy. You have to work on your mind as much as your body during this time. It will pass and you will recover. Just work to keep your mind/spirit right.
Bro sorry to hear about your misfortune. I wish you a quick and speedy recovery man, I know it can be discouraging but keep your head high. You'll be back better than ever in no time!
Sirk1981Thanks man. I really appreciate all the support I've been getting from everybody on EROIDS!!!
good luck mate
Sirk1981Thanks
Keep your head up and keep moving forward !!! The mind is more powerful than your body ..take it day by day and don't get discouraged .. You will be fine great job so far it shows great strength and will power to come this far don't give up .. There is no quit in you..
Sirk1981Thanks. It's all of you guys support that has made these past 2 weeks tolerable. I've had more care and concern from a bunch of juice heads than the so called "friends" in my life. I don't even know how to spell quit. LOL.
bigwillyfirst off good luck bro. Out of curiosity r they running gh as part of your recovery. If not demand it. I to went threw a life changing injury and I know what it is to maybe not make it. This will change you in a good way. The road is long but the prize is big.
Sirk1981GH, ha. I'm lucky to be leaving hospital with a script of pain killers and muscle relaxers. They are sending me home with blood thinners which are the most expensive out of everything (no insurance). I was wanting to get on some GH though but it's not in the cards at the moment because going to work is out of the question for a little while
That's awesome dude!! Sounds like you have a long road ahead but I have no doubt you will come back better then ever!! I saw some of those pics too, def looks like someone was watching out for you that day brother!! Best of luck coming home.
Sirk1981Thanks and your right, I was surely under someones watchful eye. Blessed to be alive and not crippled. I couldn't post some of the other pics cuz I couldn't photo shop the identifying tats and still show my damage. Plus one of them was my bruised sac. I am ready to get out of this hospital cuz there isn't anything else they can do for me.
