Going Home

ad

I was in a horrible wreck on Feb 4 that shattered my left femur, fractured my pelvis, bruised my kidneys, spleen and pancreas. I also have transverse fractures on my L4 and L5 vertebrae. As of now, I no longer have any stitches or staples left in my body. I will be leaving the hospital tomorrow to begin the real recovery journey.

Oh yeah I did 3sets of 15 lifting my left foot 3 inches off the ground and was able to get from a Physical therapy table to the floor and back off the floor by myself. BOOM. Beat that Shit!!! LOL

Damn bro, sorry to hear about this. Good luck on your road to recovery. Looking at your truck its hard to believe anyone could survive that. We're all here to support you!

Good God... Saw the pic of your truck :| brutal T bone. Best of luck for a good recovery. When I was in 6th grade I broke my leg and was in a cast from toe to mid chest lying flat on my bed for over 6 months. They didn't place plates in my quad coz they thought it'd be overkill coz i was so young and my bone would grow and fix without plates. The worst time of my life just lying there. Dunno how I spent it, tv, video games, caring loving mother.

Smile they are God's gift to us Smile I love my mother. For six months everything for me had to be taken care of on tht bed, everything. I still remember my dad couldn't stand it but my mom never even once showed any displeasure on her face. Tht experience told me tht when ever I have kids and I'm changing their diapers and stuff I will not, never never, show any sign of smell or anything on my face coz I actually felt it as a kid back in the day.

I saw your pics from your accident (I think I'm going to be sick!). I was in an accident a few years back and was laid up in the house for several months. It was fine for the first few weeks, but I started to go a bit stir crazy after that. Just be patient and let yourself heal. Wish you the very best of luck and a quick recovery! PM me if you have any questions.

Netflix was a big help. I watched entire series of all kinds of old shows. I also read some nice books. Even with these things, you start going crazy. You have to work on your mind as much as your body during this time. It will pass and you will recover. Just work to keep your mind/spirit right.
