Muscle adhesions - any remedies?
41 y/o, 2 years TRT, near the end of my first 12 week cycle of test cyp. Also take adex .25 e4d, Also take hgh 2iux2 day, weight training on and off for 20 years, hardcore the last 4.
Ok, so I'm loving the gains of my first cycle. Strength is way up, shirts fitting tighter etc... I am having some wicked muscle adhesions bilaterally in my lats and tris. It doesn't affect pushing movements, but kills me on back day. I can do lat pull downs, but pull ups are to painful. I can can warm the muscles up and get a good workout in, but damn! The first few movement hurt until the muscles start to slide.
Anyone else experience this?
By the way, I LOVE this site! Tons of good info. I was getting wicked back pumps, researched here to take taurine and magnesium and that fixed it!

Stretching before or after a workout?
Muscle adhesions usually refer to "knots" in the muscle or even scar tissue. Do you know of this is the cause if your pain or are you looking for a diagnosis?
Not so much a knot, more like the muscle fibers and facia is "sticky" instead of sliding smoothly. I'm not looking for a diagnosis, just advice. I do get some massage, but only once a month.
If that's the case, then deep tissue massage and fascia planing might help. My worry is that is sound more like a tear.
have you thought about some tapping...I use to be the guy who laughed at the idea...but now I swear by tapping I hit arms and shoulders 2-3x a week on cycle and get torn up I run a few strips down the painful area...most companies have online taping guides and within 2 days im back to 90%
