H2O is the way to go. I try to get my gallon a day intake down everyday
Absolutely! Coming from a recovering soda drinker who drank a diet coke with every meal, I believe water is vital for overall health. By drinking only water now I no longer have the urge to urinate all the time due from all that caffine and carbonation and feel like my body is running a lot more efficiently.
thanks amigo! if you guys get bored as hell drinking water like I do buy a bag of lemons and squeeze, actually enjoy my gallon or 2 a day now.
Strange dietary tip on hydration - coconut water has a similar electrolyte comp to the body and really is the ultimate "Gatorade" - courtesy of my homeopathic MD. He told me that if I really get dehydrated - that is the first line of defense.
Since it is isotonic to human plasma, coconut water can be used in extreme emergencies to quickly rehydrate the human body if administered intravenously. It is not uncommon for the drink to be used in poorer, third-world countries to save human lives. Source: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/8-benefits-coconut-water-you-...
GNC sells the stuff . . . .
That looks good.. I'll have to try some ..
Great post and information (+1). Kidney issues are serious business, so I hope we can all take your advice and keep hydrated. I make it just part of my diet (protein, carbs, fats, liquids, etc.).
I'm pretty strict, but I was really busy at work the night before I got these done. I was busy as hell and barely drank anything. I got home late and woke up early to get these done.. totally dehydrated without even knowing it!! Shit can happen fast in this game..
I agree. I think it's a great reminder for us all to keep hydrated. The consequences are no joke.
