Pain but i dont think its PIP

ad

received some new Test E about 16 days ago. i pin twice a week Mon/ Thur. Two weeks ago i had my first Pin in my left hip. ( 1 1/2 inch, 25 gauge) .833cc/ pin- Its still hurts like a deep bruise so much so that it hinders my gait. the three following pins had no pain - my right side is good. Was kind of worried and told my wife ( a medical professional) she was not happy to hear that i was using not pharmacy grade gear ( another story ) she checked out the spot and there was NO external bruising whatsoever and the location was spot on. It feels like a deep f_ _ _ ing bruise .

Any of you every experience it? if so your thoughts and how did you get rid of the pain. really have no desire to go to the Dr. ( cant imagine that conversation)

Possibility you moved the pin a little bit while you were injecting and there's a possibility it tared the muscle a little bit

thought about that - but it really is staring to swell i can see and feel the difference

I did my last cycle in my quads and it would swell up and be a lil warm look a little red in color. But knock on wood I don't think I had an infection.

Ok it is swollen-no red at all

I wish I had a dollar for every time I had some crazy response from a pin. Deep bruise feeling I personally wouldnt worry much about it. Sometimes ill take ibuprofen at 1600mg every 6-8 hours, but after so many scares I rarely even do that now

watch out for fever that's a tell, tell sign, start taking antibiotics just to be safe,

That's what I'm thinking at this point.

not red or swollen to the touch - my wife who is very experienced in infections says it does not look or feel infected?

Xrated's picture

That's good. I wouldn't worry bout it then. Couple days it will b gone.

Sometimes it's an infection deep within the muscle and won't necessarily show typical signs of a surface infection. Since it has worsened, you need to take action asap. I'd suggest seeing a doctor. You probably need antibiotics at least.

Just trying to picture that conversation : "i was taken illegal drugs..." please help and don't tell anyone- i will find a way to get some antibiotics

appreciate all the help

I was told by my doc to tell them its a spider bite. They treat it the same
