who to believe
Ok here the deal - a couple yrs ago in went to my primary told him i was tired all the time, told him i thought it was low test. He did all kinds of blood work and it ALL came back with in normal range. The fatigue continued and all the arrows pointed to low T - fast forward two yrs. I went to a "low T center" and low and behold they tell me i have low Test. (235) start at 100 test cyp every 10 days and do bloods every 4 weeks to until i'm dialed in. so now after starting in April i am taking about 210 mg of test cyp every 10 days and 300iu of HCG. I then went to my primary and relayed to him the test results with the hope of getting a script for 200mg of test every 10 days. the bottom line is he thought "they" were being to aggressive - he did write me a script for 200mg of test cyp every 2 weeks _ i told him it was worthless and this would be a step back ( he was somewhat miffed). He had blood work done the morning i was to receive a shot and the blood work was no where near the results i was getting from the low T center. The low T center had me at about 525- 540 on a consistent basis and my free at 10.5-10.7 with the optimal being 12-15. the test from my primary came back 936 range of (240-950) Free T at 37 with a range of (9-30) something is not right?

I agree with Tluv, 125 every 7 days is about right. Its easy to get high hemocrit when consistently doing higher doses over an expended period.
Blood donations are a great way to help combat that, and help ppl too! I donate every 60 days... but yeah, errbody else blood nice and red, up and gone in 5 minutes, mine is a dark purple and I've sit there as long as 25 minutes cause its so thick
To clarify- I STARTED on 100 Test cyp Every 10 days based on blood work-( April 2012) they then stair-stepped it up to 210 over 9 months based on blood work to get it within their ( low T center) normal range - the bottom line is I feel great at this dose.
Regarding the timing of the test - it was 8:20 am on a day i was scheduled to get my injection . So this should have been a low point in terms of test in my body. the injection was later that day.
I told the guys at the low t center about the test results- they told me that their equipment was/is designed specifically for testosterone testing and the calculation use to determine free T was the preferred method by the society of Endocrinologists
they told me that's all they do testosterone and have done extensive research...lba bla bla... who knows whose right
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right???? If you feel great, who cares about the numbers
If I read that correctly, you doubled your cyp dosage from 100mgs to 210??? Hence higher levels.... Why 210???? I've been on TRT for about 5 years now, its been a lot of trial n error without much help from physicians, and a lot of help from the eroids family... What works for me is a smaller, more frequent injections, 100-125mgs every 7 days. Eliminated the roller coaster ride for me with starting out doing bi-weekly injections of 200mgs cyp... Don't think this answered your question...
Could be the time you are testing compared to the time you are getting your injection, levels do fluctuate depending on that timeframe. If you are concerned that one of them is giving you a false number why not just test yourself at someplace like privatemdlabs.com or one of the others.
Have you tried getting your own independent results? There are labs that will test you but it will come out of pocket
I have been on TRT for 8 months now myself @ 45 years old. Was on the 1.62 gel for a few months and now I'm on the shots. 200 mg test cyp 1x E 14 days Dr scribed - that's from an actual Endo. No HCG, total roller coaster with 1x shot every 2 weeks. You can never leave the task or responsibility of your health in the hands of a Dr. I added 500 ui HCG - 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and broke my TRT shot in 1/2 - 100 mg EW. I have my first F/U bloods a week from yesterday. I will come in low - my energy is way low all the time even breaking up my shots to week instead of EOW. If the Dr does not up my script to 200 mg EW I'll just start taking care of it on my own sans Endo. What good is a Dr when I have to make my own adjustments?
I'm starting to think that most of these Dr's don't take their work very seriously @ all.

I totally agree... your just a number, meaning dollar signs...
Dude - not even that - you are less than that to a Dr who works for a large conglomerate. You drop them as your Dr - they still get a paycheck for the exact same amount. They don't give a shit if you come or go. They don't give a flying fuck if you can't get out of bed cause your T level is that of a 55 year old woman going thru menopause. You know why my Dr didn't give me anything other than a script for the Test cyp shots (didn't even scripe me needles), no HCG to make sure my fuckn balls still work after a few months, no AI in case I'm real test sensitive? You know why? She doesn't give a fuck about me or my well being. She's just another worker bringing home a paycheck.
This is why I make sure I know more than her. So big deal - she can memorize a bunch of shit and can learn and pass standardized tests in our educational system. That is what being a Dr means. Just cause I may learn a bit differently than our educational system would advocate and recognize doesn't mean she is smarter than I am. This is how I interept the system we are all in.

Damn my man, tell us how you really feel... Same here brotha, I went to 3 different docs, just acted like they had better things to do than explain the whole TRT thing... Ah, just stick this in your ass every 2 weeks, and you'll be fine. Same as you, NO AI, hcg... nothing... Oh but they were nice enough to gimme some 18G pins to start... WTF??? I shoulda drilled that shit in right... no explanation of injecting techniques, why to aspirate, areas to avoid.... If it wasn't for eroids, I would still be lost.... And yes, they're just reading shit out of a book.... ANY of us can do that, right??? Damn, now Im getting pissed...hahahahahaahahahah
