Failure to recover almost a year later. test&tsh

ad

Back story:
My first cycle began in oct 2012 and you can find the entire log on my profile.
Everything finished up around January and I thought my recovery had gone well, though I did notice that my sex drive never really went back to pre cycle levels and months after cessation I was pretty weak in the gym.
Pct was standard 100/100/50/50 40/40/20/20 all purchased from ADC.

Also I was left with a fair amount of fat after my cycle so in mid april I tried (also for the first time) clen and t3 both from PP. The clen rocked my socks off but the t3 had little to no effect after the first week, even as dosing increased up to 100mcg. stopped both after not losing any real weight.

Fast forward:
Saw my doc for the first time in years this Sept, and had bloods done to see how I'm doing, I wanted to cry when I saw the results.
*Total testosterone-382 ng/dl
*Free test-89 pg/ml
*tsh-2.89 miu/l

Suddenly everything became clear, I scrambled to grab a copy of bloods I had done back in 2011 and it hit me like a fucking brick
2011 bloods:
Total test-623 ng/dl
free test-153.9
tsh-1.69

So apparently even though I felt like I was recovering my pct was bunk and somehow the t3 I got not only was bunk but fucked up my thyroid.

My question*
How is any of this even possible given the time since cessation and what the fuck do I do moving foreword? I'm going to ask my doc for a referral to an endocrinologist but tbh I'm at a loss as to how I should tackle things. I'm looking for any feedback at this point, I just turned 24 and I don't want to be on trt for my entire life.

Update: On monday I started my second pct following a modified protocol I found in the "muta's miracle" post I found on here. that guy was in a similar position and the protocol worked for him.

-for the first 4 days I'm blasting 200mg of clomid/20mg nolva/3g DAA
-for the next 4+ weeks it's clomid (100/100/50/50) nolva (20mg) and 3g DAA
I timed my start so that I should finish right as I have my endo appt and I can try to get more bloods done.

On the thyroid front I can't seem to find straight answers still, some people talk about getting permanently fucked up by trying a little t3, while others point to studies showing patients on years of therapy recovering in a few weeks. I'm looking into natural thyroid aids but the endo is likely going to have to give me a recommendation on that.

Any input is appreciated and thanks for everyones replies so far.

The ADC around the time you purchased was fake or underdosed. You can run a pct from a different brand or company even after all this time. You may find the desire to add HMG and HCG as well . So try re-doing a pct before TRT. There are people who have recovered after such a long time like yourself. So its worth a shot.

Yeah, I noted in my logs that the Adex I purchased seemed underdosed so it makes sense that they were possibly pumping out bad batches for a stretch. My big question now is whether I should try this second pct now or cycle again and try it after. Thanks for the input

PCT before you cycle again. I'd do four week PCT and then stay off another four weeks after that PCT, before I'd cycle. Getting levels check on the sixth week.

Your post-cycle levels are higher than mine by 103 pre-cycle... fml Lol

Sorry to hear that bro, sounds like you'd be a perfect candidate for actual prescribed trt.

Thank you for the input guys, it's tricky because I was planning on running another cycle (same as first one) and that's part of the reason I got the bloods done.

I'm at a loss as to whether I should cycle and then try a huge long pct or if I should pct first and try to get my natty levels back before cycling. as for the t3 I still have no clue how my thyroid hasn't rebounded considering it's been months since I stopped or why it slowed my thyroid down in the first place.

I'm not going to admit to anything illicit when I head to my gp/endo but is there a med they can give me to re-stimulate natty thyroid production?

Having test this low makes me feel like shit and I'm fat now that my thyroid is apparently out of whack so resisting the urge to self medicate is tearing me apart.

Cycle was only 12 weeks, and only test+Dbol kickstart. pct was clomid/nolva/exstemestane/daa.
FR sent and thank you for any advice you can offer.

I would research on an extreme pct.. I would use raloxifene, clomiphene and/or toremifene.. Aromasin.. HCG.. I'm not the person who can answer this, but some people on this website could guide you to a complete restart. At your age (our age..) it's easier to get going again than it is at an older age, from what I THINK at least.

I would send Viking a message regarding this!

Welcome to TRT. If you were worried about being on trt then you should have waited before you decided to cycle to at least in your 30's when you start to slow down your own test.

You PCT again and draw blood to see your progression. Obviously, your T3 wasn't bunk.
