I think it would be nice if the author of the post or the owner of the pic could click on the up and down vote thumbs to see who did the voting.
The main reason for this is the random negative votes. I see plenty of things that deserve a neg for sure, and if I negged something Id gladly put my name on that vote . But then some pics and posts seemingly get negged purely out of spite. I think having to "own" a neg vote would make people think twice before just being a dick.

Buildbigger86I have asked about this and nitti told me you can never tell who does what if you have a particular forum post you wrote and you wanted to see who gave you thumbs they maybe could make an exception and look into the forum post and tell you.

I don't know the logistics of what that would take but I think that is a great idea personally. I could be wrong but I imagine it would give pause for thought before taking action.

angusI completely agree with you! If I have to neg something or someone I ALWAYS tell that person who did it and why I did it.
A good idea but I doubt it would make things better. I feel like there'd be more fighting on the forums due to this.
AnonYou know I once heard a discussion about some research done regarding peoples anonymity on the internet. No surprise but being anonomous emboldens people to say and or do things they normally wouldnt. Dont voting I suspect is one thing that people dont think twice about when they dont have to sign their name to it.
