How do you pin your weak side glutes?

ad

I can pin both quads, delts and my right glute. But what is the trick to pinning your left side glute?

Also anybody have a link to a ventro glute video?

Pinning glutes is quite simple for me. I lay on my side and twist to either glute without problem. Luckily I can pin either glute with both hands too.

Now my right delt, that's another story... I hate pinning and aspirating with the left hand only (and this being my non-dominant hand). I do the 'three finger hold, two finger pull' aspirate; not ideal but you do what you gotta do...

Google "spot injections" and check out the first site. It should help. I always pin first then hold the pin right above the needle with my right hand to keep it in place then the syringe with my left hand and push the plunger in with my thumb.

Don't forget to aspirate! ;-)

I actually pin both sides with my right hand. and always use the left hand to hold the pin.

It's not easy but I manage to do it fine lying on my bed

I hold the pin in my left hand like a knife with a downward stabbing motion. After the pin is in I then rotate my hand so my palm is on the plunger and my ring finger and middle finger are holding the pin stable. I then push the plunger in with my palm. I have been pinning my left glute this way for years. Works every time

X2 except that I clasp my ring and pinkie fingers around the barrel, and use my thumb to push the plunger. Like you're clicking a pen!

I'm lucky to have a wife that is a nurse

Sometimes I sit on the bed, leaning against the wall with the buttcheek hanging off, still have to do the twist and occasionally cramp up. But just deal with the cramp until done then stretch out

I have a hard time pinning my left glute too. I always end with the needle being bent as hell by the time I'm done. Also, I do it in front of the bathroom mirror.

Yea, I gave up on the left glute. too many other spots to pin that do not require me to contort myself, lol

I hold the bottom of the barrel with my left hand, pin and then push in with my right hand. Fairly simple "technique". Obviously takes some twisting to make happen. I usually lean against a table or low dresser drawer of some sort.

I don't pin my glutes anymore but, I used to use a mirror which helped lol

This does not answer your question but since your already comfortable pinning your quads (I'm assuming upper right side) give the lower portion a go. I can't pin the left side of my body at all except my chest but I pin my quads upper, lower, and middle. I go one palm up above the knee cap, and about 3 inches to the outside. Pick a spot that you feel good about and go to town.

If you manage the left glute though more power to you. I can't even keep the syringe straight

Haha, so there is no trick. I don't know about you guys but I am not as flexible bending around that way. And spot injections is a great resource and I have used them, sadly tho they do not have the ventro on there.
