Almost 40, Knee Injury - HGH?
Not quite 40, (38 in 3 months)
I am 6-1", 220 lbs right now, I am 6 months in from Micro fracture knee surgery on my left knee. I've been through 15 weeks of PT (2x a week, plus 2x a week on my own). The left quad is still very weak and still has some pain. Dr said it could take up to a year to heal, so I'm still holding out hope, but my left knee while does feel a bit better it's really weak.
I am looking for information on what might be best to help jump start the recovery a bit more. Before the injury i was 195-200 lbs, a good healthy weight for my frame. Not looking to bulk up or get ripped just wanna be active and healthy.
Reading that HGH can help with tissue recovery and some weight loss. Looking for advice from anyone that may have done something similar.
Any other options? ideas? dosage?

You may want to also look into Ostarine which is a SARM which has few if any side effects at normal doses and is claimed to help bone and tendon injuries, as can be seen in this webpage. I've started and can attest to the rather unexpected and pleasant feeling of well-being, which can't be all bad.

Just saw a anti aging doc he want me to take low does hgh 100 mg of test and 16 weeks of eq..I have had multi injuries but he has to me this is what he has a few retired NFL players on that helped them.....The eq should not be run more then 16 weeks he said but really helps connective tissue.....I have only done small amount of hgh so far and feel a lot better........He mentioned to take it slow because he see guys feel so much better within a month and then they want to go full speed and re injure themsleves.....He said just because you feel like you can does not mean you should (((((((healling is still taking place))))))))).......

Every log I've seen is 20mg loading phase at 4mg wk. Split in 2 doses. Go read this log by a guy who had a light labrum tear in his left shoulder. The reason I picked him is he is a Dr. and his logs are pretty thorough.

I can walk fine and have just started a slow, slow jog on the treadmill per my PT. I am doing 1 mile 3x a week at about 12-13 min pace. A far cry from the 10k-1/2 marathons I was doing prior to the injury and running sub 9 min pace. Running really keeps the weight off me. I have a desk job so I sit all day long.
I haven't started any supplements or rigorous routine yet, just doing what my surgeon and PT were guiding me to do. I am now done with PT (insurance ran out for visits) so I'm on my own.
I'm gonna read up on TB-500 and HGH, see which one maybe more cost effective. I'm also not a big fan of giving myself shots, someone else sure, myself is another story LOL.
Swimming is on my list of potential activities but I suck at it and hear its super boring. Can't bring music with ya to at least pump you up.

Give them a vote if you find it helpful.Permalinkbro i only learned how to swim this year got myself 12 lesson for 40 pound and it realy is not boring its great and brings out them micro muscles and works the inner muscles in a way no other training can that realy support your legs.you could get water proof earphones bro or water proof ear phones/radio thing if its a big problem.and i here you on the 10 k run i was doing a lot of 10 k trail runs,coastruns,sprints 8.30 min mile and a halfs same as you bro it sucks i cnt even run a mile and a half now.try taken vitmin c at 1000 mg daily physio said it will help bring plasma levels up and aid faster recover of bones,tendons,ligaments,cartilage and slow msucle wasting and speed up muscle gains i feel this has realy helped.i also take 2000-3000 mg codliver oil per day within 2-3 week realy seems to helped loads also glucosamine and choradontin helps and drinking loads of water.plus protein shakes to keep them msucles growing and lots of meats and good carbs msucle grouwth will realy help you.yea bro my physio got stopped to am due to start back in a few week try and keep up the same pace and same exercises you where doing with your physio at home and if you feel like you can up the pace go for it only you know your own body.
AnonI can do a slow jog but I cannot explode off the left knee. No pushing off, sprints, one legged jumps or anything like that.
Was reading your other threads, have you ever done a stack?
Seriously looking at TB-500, I can get 6 weeks supply for 300 usd.
So many options, just trying to pick the best one and then go for it.
If your paying 300 for 24 mgs your paying to much.

Give them a vote if you find it helpful.Permalinkno bro never did a stack before not used HGH or tb-500 so can not realy advise to much going to get a post up today if i have time some basic info on HGH.what my thinking is about my rehab cycle is:var 100s of studys benifiting acl injurys,cartilage,tendons,burns,bones so on first 4 week var kicker,eq because it increases col synth 1 and 2.col synth 1 helps with synoval fluid in the knee which helps to transport nutrients and high red blood cell count which will supply the outer layer of articuler cartilage with even more nutrients leading to faster recovery than i could get in my normal state plus the increase in lean muscle on my legs which is going to lead to even better and faster recover with less chance of injury.col synth 2 is the main healer of articuler cartilage so this is a good thing to being eq and var boost this.they do not effect col synth 3 but you can't get everything HGH would increase this tho thats the main healer of connective tissue.so my cycle is tailerd to my personal needs.some of thisd info could help you i came up with this cycle after gp and physio told me about the healing process of my injury and it made sence to run this as a rehab cycle.hope this info helps a little you will just after find out how your injury will heal what the process is and how you could increase any of these processes and so on and so fourth lol i realy don't have a choice tho due to work,fucked knee ,rent and life lol
