Revolution?

First shots of a revolution, or just someone pissed off that they couldn't get to the post office in time to pay their taxes?
Today is Patriots Day in Massachusetts, coincidence?

First revolutionaries were not about attacking civilians. In fact the only way any revolution of the past survived and thrived was on winning the hearts and minds of the people it was suppose to be freeing.

If you want to start a revolution there are many ways to go about it social, economical, combative, and etc. But here is a tip for all of those that talk about it and don't do it, you are not a revolutionary. You don't sit back and wait for one you begin one, that is if you are serious about your cause and not just blowing smoke. Revolutionaries all had one common trait they were willing to lose all comforts of life as well as life itself to win their cause. If anyone would like discuss this I would be more than happy to, aas is not my expertise but I can say that these topics are. One last thing I have seen revolutions up close and personal I have even trained revolutionaries from many places, I was just in Boston during these events, this was no f*cking work of a revolutionary. Just because you say it or think it doesn't make it the truth.

Revolution? I'm all for it. I'm ready but the rebellion attacking civilians? Hell no! No no no!! That's just fucked up. That's not what a revolution is about!

Have been waiting 20 years for a revolution, I think it's long overdue! Agree 100% that what hapened is not right nor can it be justified. I worry sometimes that our recent activities around the world have done nothing but make more enemies for us and that will lead to more unconscionable acts being caried out right here.
Here is something I think everyone should look at regularly. It's not the whole thing but it should stir feelings in every American. I did copy and paste it but its not from another board so I hope it is ok.

Preamble
1 When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
2.1 We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
2.2 That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. 2.4 But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
2.5 Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these States. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

Couldn't agree with you more, I too think we need to stand up to the opressive thing our govt has become. Just as the deceleration of independence instructs us to do. I think we may be 100 years to late but I have hope. What was done is wrong and unjustified. Just wondering why they did it and trying to get people to think and talk about it.
Also wondering what this will lead to, how long till this is bandied about as an excuse for why we HAVE to have surveillance drones, why muzzle loaders and black powder should be outlawed....

It's patriots week the celebration of the first battles of the Revolution, it's tax day and its also the anniversary week of Waco. Strongly points to domestic to me.
