If the theory of man-made global warming were such a self-obvious truth, the result of scientific consensus, then why do its advocates keep committing fraud to advance it? Even more disturbing, why are some writers willing to defend this behavior?

The simple facts are if there is a easier way to do something we will take that way even if it fucks the planet.dump shit in the sea theres floating masses of shit bigger than england in the sea all over the world.we dig,drain,shale and fucking stomp our gas out of this planet with no care for it.allways putting our kind first and in return for its gas we give it back radio active waste and store that shit away and leave it for the future to care about its not our problem now blahh blahh blahh.way like a cancer like a parasite only we won't co exist with our host the planet we drain it dry cut every tree down tell all tribal natives trying to live away from our shite our greed that there in our way move this is ours now this is ours to ruin...way a lost cause,this planet should be left to someone whos better equiped to take care of it.if everything must die for use to live then we are allready dead if we don't kill ourselfs...nature will.

If 99% of the worlds scientists believe in climate change/global warming then obviously you are going to have a few fraudsters in there (thats a pretty big fucking group of apples ). So really ? Rustyhooker99% is hugely exaggerated. The earth scientist show us heating/cooling proof daily in my classes. Unless all the dinosaurs riding harleys jacked things up? Lol! The earth has been in constant heating/cooling periods. As Wells as hundreds of switches in polar north. All documented and held in the earths plates. So when polar north changes again and the earth flips over as it has done in the past many times, that's a real hazard.
AnonNo one denies that the earth has not naturally gone through heating and cooling cycles, but during certain periods of time the earth was also uninhabitable , or at least not in areas where there are large populations now. As far as the dino's on harleys, well they went extinct last I checked. And yes Im glad you know that history is preserved in the polar ice caps, which is where the evidence comes from showing us an absurd acceleration in greenhouse gasses like NO other time in history.
The question is are we aggrivating a situation by dumping a tremendous volume of the gasses that cause this in to the atmosphere faster than it can be absorbed. And the plain and simple truth is yes we are. So really all that remains is the decision to put effort in to slowing that, or just saying "ah fuck it".
Quite frankly the argument against is just plain stupid. Its " Im not going to be a sucker " or "well China isnt going to do anything so why should we " or " It costs too much" .
Well what are the costs so far of the record breaking weather paterns as of late ? And of course everything is about money, Drs make money and they save lives are you saying they should work for free ? The health food store charges me for food, are you saying because its good for me they should just give it out ? Thats the dumbest shit ever to deny the overwhelming majority of scientists to say , "ah someones going to proffit from this ". And as far as China ? Well even if I drive down a rd that has garbage on its shoulder, I am not compelled to throw my litter out the window and say " ah fuck it ,everyone else does it "
In fact I believe that if people had embraced the idea of fighting global warming when it was first suggested we may not be in an economic down turn right now. After the internet boom, and then the housing boom, there was nothing to boost the economy. What if there was a Green boom ? Something that created new technology that every country in the world would want to buy from us, something that employed hundreds of thousands of workers to retrofit old buildings, or manufacture new products ? Are you really saying that if the US developed a system that made us more efficient and cleaner that other countries wouldnt want that ?
RustyhookerJust stating that living out west in "ecotopia" is a very clean environment. Data in the us shows a clear and huge drop in greenhouse gasses since the late 70's. And those professional educators in the 70's showed huge documentation proving we are moving into an ice age. Name for name those same scientists have shifted to warming. That's skewed information. Many of the noted heating trends occurred during times of no humans. Correct. Suggesting that the earth has its naturally occurring changes both hot and cold.
Saying fkkit and adding to the garbage on the roads or air like China does. Nope. I agree we have the technology to build new markets as well as save momma earth. But its funny that its also documented that our Summers are cooling, yet svientist boast heating. Again skewed info.
Its everyones responsibility to conserve, reuse, etc. But money still leads the way. Just like the ex vice president and his jet trips.
AnonNo not skewed info at all just skewed minds twisting the facts . A warmer climate will melt ice, which will alter ocean currents which will cause ice age. Fact that regardless of summer/winter temperatures overall mean temperature is on the rise.

So yeah when I follow the dollar trail behind the handfull of scientists that dont agree climate change is real you find big oil money.
Technology can also be blame for environmental problems; Buildings also alter the flow of air, and create micro-climates. Roads cut ecological communities in half. Buildings also absorb heat in a different fashion to vegetation and soil. Marine structures like groins, harbors and piers alter the natural flow of the currents and change the way the sand builds up on the beaches - some areas may become starved of sediment, others overburdened. Just a few of the many complications. Smart phones and other electrical gadgets, and most especially the electronic wastes.
