Diet cycling for 3x a wk workouts
ad
I have stumbled upon the lean gains diet and training method recently and have had a few questions I have not been able to get a solid answer for. My diet routine follows the guidelines of +30% of maintenance on workout days and -10% of maintenance on non workout days. My question is how to lower the calories. Should I keep my protein intake the same across the days and cut cals through carbs, or should I cut total calories and keep the same macro percentages for the off days?

Never cut calories from protein bro, you should manipulate carbs and fats. Fats would be more ideal as they have 9 cals per gram, but don't over do it. You want at least 40g of fat a day. I've heard 50 is better. If you can't lower them enough from fats, then go for the carbs.
Ok thanks bro. Carb cycling like a mofo it is then.
