Meeting w/ Endocrinologist next month. Start cycle NOW or wait?
ad
Howdy.
Had blood work done a couple weeks ago, low test and appointment scheduled with endo in March. The problem is that I want to do a cycle NOW and not wait until I see the endo in march before I start pinning. Never been to an endo before so I'm not sure if it would be stoo-pid of me to start pinning now in advance of seeing the endo or if they can just use the blood work from a couple weeks ago. Thoughts?

Very likely to re run blood tests before they do anything else. Not what you wanted to hear I guess, but at least you know if you don't wait you'll probably be wasting your time going.
Thanks for the info. Now I'm wondering if I should pin the day after they draw blood OR if I should just sit on my hands and wait for them to get the results back and start TRT. This is really mucking with my gains.
It's unlikely they'd need to do any more blood tests immediately after, so you should be safe as soon as you're out of there but there is a risk they'll want to test in a month or 6 weeks. Ask 'em if there's any more blood tests, tell them you've got a needle phobia and need to prepare yourself.
Good luck.
Mine was at 215 and I patiently waited for the endo appointment. Most endo's are not stupid and if they see your test levels too high they will either A) reduce the amount of TRT you are being given or B) not prescribe you anything because your levels look fine. I'd hold off until the appt that way you can atleast get the prescription in hand before you cycle. My endo has me on 150mg of cyp a week, but everyone's body responds differently. I'd ask for a once a week shot vice once every two weeks to keep the levels from doing a yo-yo between shots.
Thanks. Just concerned about the "most endo's are not stupid" statement, especially when I go walking in there at 250+ pounds with the physique of a bodybuilder. ;)
I wouldnt worry about your physique. The doctor is there to treat your condition, not your hard work
How old are you brother? You seem a little impatient, waiting a month is nothing. If you want an accurate reading from your blood tests you need to wait. If you start blasting test now, blood work could come back very high for test levels. Your endo is either gonna want to know what you're doing or will simply tell you theres no reason to see him. I would wait Holmes.
40 years but the impatience is because my total test is around 200, which is very low. I think you're right though, I'll wait.Thanks.
I figured you were like 21. Damn there's a lot of kids in here. Anyways, I've been on TRT for a while and pretty much have the system down. I understand completely that you're probably not feeling at your best. 200ng/dl is low and can be very emasculating. I've been there. Do you expect your endo to start you on TRT your next visit? He should and likely will. 200mg test cyp every two weeks is pretty common practice. Once they pin you, then start your cycle. You'll likely have repeat blood work three months later so run your cycle for about 8 weeks if it's long estered or 10-11 weeks if it's short esters. That will give you time for it to clear your system before your next lab work. The only thing present will be the cyp they have you on.
Again, THANK YOU!!! I need to write down what you just said.
My last pin was Oct 6th and I went through PCT so my test levels should have risen by now. I went for blood work to see where I was and my jaw dropped when he said I was 200 total. Then I'm wondering if I've ALWAYS had low test but never knew it since this is the first time I've had blood work done to check my test levels. Never been to an endo before so I didn't know what to expect but your post has helped quite a bit. Thanks again!
PS.
I started PCT again with 50/clomid and 20/nolva daily shortly after hearing the results of the bloodwork. Bad or good idea?
Not neccesarily a bad idea, but probably won't help much. Sounds like your body was simply not able to recover from this last cycle. It happens sometimes. At least you're 40 and not 25 like I was. TRT is not a bad thing at all. Lots of guys on here with a great deal of experience with it. Basically from here on, you will blast for a while, that will be your cycle, then cruise for a while. No more pct. No more nolva blues. Just oils, AIs, and enjoying life from here on. My life is exponentially better on TRT.
Music to my ears, thanks again.
Sure thing. I accepted your fr so feel free to pm me any time. Also Monstar is extremely knowledgable in this area and loves to help guys out.
