question regarding body fat and anavar.

Hi all. Based on my measurements, I'm getting a body fat of 20%. I seem to stay around this except I was 17% 3 years ago when to be honest I was on the verge of having a serious eating disorder.
Will I be ok to start Anavar, I'm eating clean and train really hard. Have done for the past 14 years. Thanks in advance.

Update since 1st Jan 2013: Well eating clean, upping my weights and busting a gut I've lost 11inches and 4lb. Got my bodyfat down to 19% so today I've started my 3rd cycle of Anavar.
Starting at 7.5mg a day. The reason for this is they are 15mg tablets. Going to keep with this for 1 week, then increase to my 15mg for 2 weeks, 20mg for 2 weeks. Then taper down the last 3 weeks. Planning on doing an 8 week cycle.
Going stick with the clean eating. Up my protein and fuids. Add 1 day cardio on a fasting stomach. Currently 3 days weight training and 2 spin classes.
Will continue to keep you posted.
Todays stats: weight: 135lbs
waist: 26 inches
hips: 35 inches
bodyfat: 19%.
Looking to harden up my phisique. Add good lean muscle and drop body fat.
Any more advice would be appreciated.
Hi guys thanks for your replys. It's great not to be judged and critised for being a female and wanting to take steriods. I have decided to go on my 3rd cycle. I wanted advice regarding my bodyfat as I want to get in the best shape I possibly can. Over the next few weeks, I am cutting my carbs by 50%, increasing my water uptake, drinking green tea and changing my training to Fartlek and upping my 5 days to 6 days a week. As I seem to be sticking at the 20% mark, I'm begining to think its because I'm doing too much cardio!!!! as I am a fitness instrutor. Not particularly worried about waist thickening as my waist is currently 27inches and it might leave me more in porportion. I will post up my cycle soon and keep you posted on how it turns out. Thanks for the post. I'm thinking about running a 3rd cycle also. I finished my second cycle in Oct and leaned up pretty good and down to 15/16% body fat. The last cycle I had to up my carb intake because I wasn't gaining any muscle and after the first cycle water retention wore off, I was so small. I was doing boxing/kickboxing and crossfit 4 times a week and lifting 6 days. Now my waist is 27, hips 36.5, weight 147, size 4.
Not sure if I should run one more cycle. What you think?
Hi thanks for your reply. It seems your in good shape at the mo and would benefit from Anavar. Thats if you want to build muscle and have a harder leaner look to your body. You have a good body fat percentage. I wish I could lower mine lower. I'm very keen to go ony 3rd cycle. Love the pump!! Going start soon. I'll keep you posted in how I get on! This probz will get some backs up.Everyone has the idea that running var at 20% bf is a waste of time but thats a down ryt lie.I have seen what var can do first hand at 20% bf,thrw spine rehab,not a hardcore bodybuilding weights regime at all limited to say the least,training 2-3 times per week,and the results where great.NOW I AM NOT SAYING IT IS A DIET PILL,I AM NOT SAYING RUN IT AT 20% BF,NEIVA AM I SAYING DIET IS NOT KEY.but what am saying is it can have dramatic results not at doses of 100 mg but at doses of as low az 40 mg per day and not just for females as my mate is male and not slim built. i would drop bf to 10-16% and results should be greater but you can get results at 20% bf if your diet is tip top as my mates diet was and i think this is KEY.i also know the increase in muscle around the mid section is another factor of how you drop even more bf %.you should get your cycle plan up tho as anavar only is a waste but with a test background it will bring out vars real effects.am not looking to argue with folk after posting this but i joined eroids to state facts and my own exp and thats what am gonna do even if it is not standard protocol.
spartacus lad.. it isn;t the 20% bf that is nec the issue. it is the expectation that taking the var will make you look like you have 10% bf ..
If you read my post you will see i am not saying that diet is not key,var is not a weight loss pill,taking var alone with shit diet and poor training will not work i understand that lass...but people who say var at 20% bf is a waste of time are WRONG simple as that i have seen it with my own eyes twice and as i said before i am here to speak the facts not just go with the eroids given.And i have not got the expectation that var will make you look like you have 10% bf if that was the case clen would not even be on the table for pros if var blasted fat like that.but i have seen it happen and it can aid dropping bf with a test background of as low as 250mg per week and a great diet...
tread-mLET ME ADDRESS YOUR COMMENT OF "eroids given"....the reason there is an "EROIDS GIVEN" is through a lot of people learning things the hard way. Its the "Paved road". If one chooses not to take the paved road and it takes them 3 or 4 or 10 times as long to reach their goals guess what? They will be back here in time preaching the Eroids given themselves. Its after learning something the evry hard way, that something is known as "cause and effect". You cannot escape cause and effect so if the var is the cause in part for the effect of weight loss then what happens when the cause is gone? That person has a choice then, am I willing to run var 40 weeks a year to help keep my goals met or should I look for the "cause" of the weight? You see by using var and changing cause and effect to some degree you arre simply fighting another cause and effect, trying to trump the number of troops it has and win the war. In reality you are winning a few little bhattles and losing the war.
Now lets take the "Eroids given" strategy for winning the war. What if we simply got rid of the cause and effect that we're trying to beat to begin with? If the carb structure in our diet , even if diet is "clean", is the cause for the effect of bf, what if we changed that structure eliminating the need for bf reuction with var????? Answer, we are now talking about using var for its purpose, as a hardening compound to help further clean up our already good habits. Thats how you win wars , you take away the enemy, not fight him on his own terms. I call it the "Eroids given" my friend and you simply have not opened your mind to what it really is. You think its something disagreeing with you and its not, its simply saying while your way might have some benefit, there is a much better way. what you do with var is your business brother but there is a better way . Btw, I know you're not arguing against the better way persay but to use the argument you used has people fighting a war on the enemies terms, fighting them on my terms is the way I roll even if in your back yard.
I seen a comment saying var is a waste of time at 20% if i looked at it and frt are well betta leave it betta not post cz it will get backs up then eroids would be pointless if we are not here to question stuff and say of examples you have seen but have to stick with the given.the pct plan would be no AI just nolva/clomid and as i cnt use clomid it would just be nolva that was the advise i was given when i joined.run it at 40mg for 4 week maybe up the dose but as the eroids given has been questioned on pctz and changed my pct plan now stands at aromasin 10/10/5/5 i also know its good for igf which is even better for my pct and nolva 20/20/20/20 lower dose then it was a year ago but still as effective and less of a war on my body pct and post pct.but no az i have seen at 20% bf it is not a waste of time all i hoped in doing was showing a example that this is what can happen with it not that this will work for you everyones body is not the same but it can and duz often.if you where to drop weight with var from say 15% to 6-7% bf that would not meen you have to run it for 40 weeks bcuz you cnt hold the bf off now you have stopt the compound but if you kept your diet and cardio on lockdown maybe tweeked it a little you would stay at 6-7% bf and even be able to drop it even more.To many people see high karma and drop there load and will not dare to question the given or even say something if it is a fact.i know you and ovaz are there for a good reason but if no one questioned the given my pct plan would be wrong for me.. as i was told never RUN AIz PCT ITS STUPID AI FOR ON CYCLE ONLY.now that was common advice bk then but now the given as changed as eroids has learned more and as for what i do with var it will be run for my rehab and not to lose weight.

Definitely, don't want to look skinny!! I love curves, where its important of course.
Speaking from experience with a clean diet and good training will do the trick. I don't take clen any longer. It made me cramp up to badly and started making me look too skinny. My problem is that I don't look 147, 5'7. Most people think I'm 130 pounds. I want to look 145 pounds but with lean muscle.
It sounds like you have a head on you and know what your doing.the fact your sorting diet now and not waiting to srt diet out while on cycle is great you should get some good results from it.sorry abwt clocking your thread up with my hissy fit to lol.
You seem to have a good grasp on what you're doing. I like the idea of you dieting and then using your var when you shed some excess. Good luck!
This is a female that started this post. Dosages of 100mgs would be absurd for a woman. 5-10mg is the norm. Additionally, you're operating under different standards in regards to bf% and bmi when is comes to males vs. females. Grrrl has it locked down for her.
Ahh frt she was a he lol my bad and i also think 100mg is stupid advise and i never give that advise.if i knew i was speaking to a female it would have changed as my advise is for a male.

You can do this and you will lose body fat however, because of the addition of muscle mass (which is exactly what anavar is meant to do) you WILL feel thicker through your waist and else where. You need to be prepared for this and understand that it is muscle not fat, otherwise you will be disappointed.
I can't stress this enough, Anavar is NOT a weight loss pill. It is a weight gain pill which faciliatates some fat loss. True fat loss comes through dieting and training. You must eat better and if you don't add the necessary proteins and drop carbs you are wasting your money in the long run. You also have to consider that you want to keep your gains off cycle and prepare for how you are going to eat and train off cycle as well.
Hey girl, my girlfriend has pretty much the same stats as you and were gonna get her on a lady Var cycle, Starting at a 5mg dose split between morning and evening then switch to 10 split morning evening. The goal right now is to get her down to 16-17% Bf before she starts the var. Just interval training 4 days a week and 2 days of paced cardio work usually works for her.
You might try intermediate fasting to lower your body fat. Only eat in a six hour window. 18 hrs drink water. My wife has lost three dress sizes and is on hcg. Only eat clean protein. Cardio, cardio, cardio.
My wife ran a var cycle post pregnancy and it was very effective. She started out around the same bf% you're at, but really had her diet dialed in. Dropped down to around 15% bf in a relatively short time. She started out at 5mg ed and eventually worked up to 10mg ed. As a male, running var at 20% bf would be a waste. But as a female, I think it could be beneficial to help you add some lean muscle which will in turn help burn more body fat. That's assuming your diet and exercise program are on point. Anavar is not a diet pill, but if you get things dialed in can be very effective for you.
Try and get your diet on lockdown first the less fat pre cycle the better results.but i will say just had a mate run 6 week kicker of anavar for post op recovery at 19.5 bf just checked and hes easy 12% bf maybe 10% now insane vains and crazy pumps faster recovery to.he ran first 2 week 30 mg then last 4 week at 40 mg so a think you can see crazy drop of bf and see muscles mid section you have never seen before at 20% bf but if he had been 10-16% bf it would of been some crazy stuff.also i dnt know what your cycle plan is but i would not run anavar only cycle it sounds like this is your first cycle so have you got a pct plan set out and what test dose are you running ? hope this helps you out mate.

Not to be a dick but if you are training real hard and eating real clean and still at 20% bf you might want to switch up your diet and workout routine. Anavar works wonders if you are in the lower teens at 20% you will be wasting your money if you need help with a diet or work out fr me and I will be happy to help.
+1. Try switching up your diet and excerise routine to bring down your body fat%. If you can get it to 16% then try the Anavar. Right now you would be wasting your time and money trying to get the results your looking for. I used Var at the end of my last cycle and was around 16% bf and was able to drop to about 12% in a 40 day cycle. I did stack it with test but you will not need too. Var is very good but needs to be used at the correct time. Hope this helps you.
