Almost Passed Out During Injection?
Yeah, well the title pretty much covers it. My first injection went well overall, though a little shaky, on Sunday. I pinned my right quad that time. Well, I did my second this morning... Left quad. Well I started to pass out as I was pushing the oil into my leg this time.
I had a couple friends with me the first time for moral (and possibly health-related!) support, so I felt pretty safe. I had one of those two friends with me again this morning for my second injection; however, I had to pin early (first thing after we both woke up and I showered) this morning and knew she was there just in case anything went wrong. Well, I was using a YouTube video to help guide me through the process (same as last time), and once I finally had everything ready... I stuck the needle in and looked over at her... SHE WAS PASSED OUT ON MY BED.
I suddenly started feeling very weak and faint. Everything started going black, and I finally had to semi-yell to make her wake up and finish pushing it for me, since everything was fucking black and I couldn't see anymore! She said I turned ghostly white, and I was definitely sweating bullets. Very, very fucking strange. Do you guys think this was all about mentality, just looking over and realizing I was all alone, or is there something else that could have caused this? Thank you in advance for replies.
Btw, I have never been afraid of needles. I can watch the shots the doctors give me with no problem... Always have. I give blood regularly, and that doesn't bother me either. I know it isn't the needle itself, but maybe it's just some sort of anxiety related to doing it MYSELF and ALONE? Idk. But, yeah. All input will be greatly appreciated!

Happened to me my first pin as well. I was by myself and thought I was going yo die hahaha. I'll never forget the cold sweat and blacking out. You'll be fine man, just have more confidence in your ability to pin. If you feel it coming on again, focus on your breathing and try to stop thinking so much. You'll be a pro in no time.
You both passed out, im thinking theres a gasleak in the house. Theres two things that you need to worry about
1. Injecting into a vein, which is hard to do. Than the roids would go straight to the heart.
2. Hitting a nerve- Ive heard you can hit a schiatic nerve in your butt and go temporarily paralyzed for about two hours from the waste down.
Yeah. I definitely aspirate, and I'm pinning pretty deep (1.5 in needles). I am good to go with the veins and such, I believe... But are nerves a big worry? Being paralyzed for two hours would be scary as hell, man... But all would be well after those scary two hours. Is there any possibility of getting messed up permanently? Ha. I haven't read or been made aware of anything permanent throughout all my research.
Its never happened to me, but Ive heard it happen from fellow bro-ologists. I just did a search that verified the info as well as giving some nice tips on injection.

I feel like I might have nicked a nerve in my quad a couple time. The muscle kinda spasmed then my knee felt a little numb/sore and could feel a dullness in my knee the next day
jek555only go in 1" on ur delts thighs and 1.5" in ur ass
It's called a vasovagal response. I almost had this happen on my very first injection. And, recently I had to get a numbing shot in my hand for some stitches and I flat out passed out. It's really not in your control, but once you get used to the injections, it becomes an everyday thing. No worries! You will be fine next time!
I was thinking more vaginal response, but you could be onto something there..
I seriously thought that's what he was saying when I first read it. -_____-
Lol. I did have to google it, which is rare.
LOL!!
I've given myself B12 injections a few times. I just think about the second after I take the needle out and put the cotton and bandaid on how it won't feel like anything. That usually works for me.
I think you are thinking way too hard.
Just think of it as another method of administering a drug. Some take pills by mouth, steroids are injected under the skin.
Nothing scary about it just jab and go. Don't think so much about what can go wrong because you are just giving yourself a panic attack
haha man i remember those days! its just being comfortable. honestly its comical how thoughtless my injects are now (while still safe ;) ). its takes less time than brushing my teeth at this point...
Haha. That's what I'm hoping for in the not-so-distant future, bro. How many injections do you think it will take before I balls up enough? Ha.
not many man. like everyones saying..its the mental part. its unnatural to shove a pointy object into your body haha. you know when you really start liking it? when the gains kick in... then you wont be passing out. youll be counting down the days til your next inject ;)
Cool, man. I will keep all of you guys posted throughout my cycle. I hope I don't start getting shit for spamming the boards though. Haha. I'm just trying to keep EVERYTHING in check with people who actually have experience and know wtf they are doing... And I don't really have that anywhere other than here.
you arent spamming hommie. just change that gay ass zyzz nickname ;) . ur better than that doggy
Haha.
It's gotta be mental. There was one time I stood around holding a needle for an hour trying to build up the courage to do it lol
Haha damn.. Me to me too
Haha. Good, man. My bro who is also running his first cycle alongside mine will be with me Sunday though... So mentality should be in a much better place. ^-^
Do you normally get faint when the Doctor gives you an injection? I think it is all mental, you just need to find your "happy" place before injecting. Wait until you have a spasm or blood shoot across the room when you take the needle out, if you pin enough it will happen but just remember it is not dangerous as long as you follow injection protocol. I think Cdaddy posted something the other day about safe injections look it up.
Will do, man. I appreciate it. And, no. I never get faint when given shots or giving blood or anything. I didn't even get faint on Sunday when I did it. I was nervous and shaky, but I did not even begin to get light-headed or faint at all.
Here you go it is a good read.

Thanks again, bro.
