Hungarian Pointer, best dog ever. I have my first one right now and I doubt I will ever get a different breed. She's my little girl... so smart, loyal, affectionate, and of course great looking just like her dad.
My male boxer before he passes in 2010. He was so spiteful my girl friend put her pants on the pool table. With legs of pants hanging off the table. No more than ten seconds later he went over and pissed on the pants. Then stood and looked at me like ha ha ...

Training these dogs require so much more than just watching a video. The dog itself plays the biggest role. A good confident stable dog is a must. There is also a need to understand the different drives of the dog. So much to talk about with this subject. Different training phylosophy and techniques. You don't want to train an unstable dog to bite. It's a huge liability.
With that being said. I train with a reward. The dog works for play. I'm a huge fan of Ivan Balabanov and his training theory. Trainperview.com. Here are a few links to his technique.He has a video series that explains the basics of the sport.I'm still new to this and have so much to learn. Training an "Attack dog" is dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. It takes time and commitment. These dogs are well trained athletes and love what they do. Awesome sport.

Do you train?
Yeah. Used train and compete Sch. My old shepard is a SchIII dog but he is retired. Moved away from the club we used to train with and have no one except a couple of K9 officers to do helper work. Its great for them but they are just decoys and not up to really training a complete dog. At the moment i am working on my mali for PPD work. She on the muzzle now.
Good deal. I had to pull my male from bitework. His confidence is unstable and insecure. He is very mouthy and chewy. Some would continue training with him, but I'm not with him. Which sucks.Training him to be personal protection dog. I have a pup coming this November that I'm very excited about. I mostly do helper work at the club and help our training director.
It sucks you have nowhere to train with a titled dog. Especially a Sch111 dog.

British bulldog. Had on a few years back. Had to put him down due to his old age. We had him for over 8 years. They have so much personality it crazy. As well as a good guard dog he made your day. No matter how bad your day was when you came home and seen him you felt much better. Great dogs.
AnonI have my second Border collie now, and hes up there in years, but this one and the one before him have been amazing dogs. I can practically have a conversation with him he understands so much.
Definitely not a dog that tollerates being left home all day though. Mine goes to work with me every day and is free to roam, chase, and hunt. Unless youve got a lot of space and time this is not a good breed to get.
German Shepherd and Belgian Malinios. Or any dog that excels in bite work.

Anonwell, I can't say she hasn't eaten him .. but no, he doesn't do any helper work .. I have to travel so we only get bite work in once or twice a week .. ;(
Wolf breed dogs -malmutes, huskies, german shepards, and northern inuits are my favorite.
My little fat fuck pug, cause his snoring and mine drives my woman crazy:-)

My favorite of all time breed has to be the "blue" Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Excellent dogs and they have the best look IMO. If I had more time to spend at home I would own one in a heart beat.
I'm not the kind of person that would leave my pup alone for long periods.
English Bull Terrier. Have had 2 and they r mad and a nightmare to train. However they r loyal and brilliant with kids. Great guard dogs aswell, if someone aint meant to be in ur house they will no ahahahaha
