It don't slow them down, they just buy the wrong shit, or run the wrong doses, or no PCT prep. You know as wellas anyone once they decide their buying something you can't tell them no, just try to help them be safer!

I love some of you guys but I'm with KMC on this one, i never want to go threw a rep. I feel there is no need for it.

I was requested to rep a source in order to answer simple questions and free up the owners to handle business instead of answering questions like how do I pin, where is the website, does white wine go with fish. Things the source could be using his time better for. No order entry, name taking, or anything related to business. Things change with how sources and their intro pages are handled, its evolution! I would anticipate there are quite a few behind the scenes "salesmen" that do not let you know they are assocuiated with the site. This way you know who they are helping!
Let me just say, that I would rather have answers to general questions done in an open forum, with multiple inputs from members, than out of sight with a salesman in PM.

DT-SwoleI'd consider my position as a customer service job rather than salesman. Guide people in the right directions so they can make their orders without any issues or concerns. This speeds up shipping and makes the whole process faster.

ETA: And here was a good example of why we don't need REP's, they ride in (sometimes on mass) to defend a source, that should speak for themselves. A lesser member could easily be bullied by a couple of source REP's.
Reps are poping up all over the place seems like the way for sources to go but what about the consumer. Me personally I would rather not deal with a rep and would go straight to the source. If I had to deal with a rep I would not order but maybe that is just me

You wouldn't be the fist one to get scammed by a rep for a otherwise legit source either. It's pretty stupid for a source to trust reps with their "customer support" too. Seems like it became popular since a few people migrated from other boards, with the influx of new inexperienced sources...
REPs work solely to hype a source and could be considered a liability because of that.
I don't think they add much value to the community, and I am considering banning REP roles.
The only thing that we do is answer basic new questions. like TA times,when is stock coming ECT. How could a rep scam someone if they have nothing to do with the actual orders? We dont take orders or money its all done through the website. Im sure it has happened in the past if the rep is allowed to much access.
