Some oil leaked out from my delt shot

Near the end of my shot I guess I drawed out the needle a little further and a small line dripped from my injection spot. Should I be worried about anything? Next time i'll make sure to keep the needle in deeper...
I tried to squeeze out any excess oil through the injection site and wiped it clean with alcohol swab. Will the oil that stayed inside be absorbed like normal?

Yes, this happens to me more so with delt shots. Must have something to due with the muscle its self. I just take my time with delt shots now and have a alcohol pad at the base of point and skin. Then I pull out quick and cover the hole with pad and massage and rotate my delt.

if you traction your skin, i.e. pull your skin and then inject when you withdraw the skin will move back into place and cover the hole in the muscle you just created, its called the z-track injection method and has been used for years by those in medical industry. heres a visual aid.

AnonAnd here I thought the whole pulling the skin taught was just to ease insertion.. I stopped bothering with it cuz I thought it pointless, lol. Totally makes sense though when you think about it. Tried it and no leakage for the first time ever. Thanks

I dont know if it's the muscle tissue (density, fiber ect) or what that forces it out, but it's only ever on my delts and its EVERY time.

Ur fine bro u shouldn't even of squeezed it out. Stuff can be absorbed subcutaneously as well as intramuscularly. By touching the injection site right after like that ur more prone to infection, u most likely wont get an infection but it just raises the risk, I always wipe the injection site with alcohol pads before and after I pin to ensure sterility. The worse that will probably happen to u from this is the oil will travel up or down from the site and u will have PIP spread out over that area along with some swelling maybe but nothing major. I've made this mistake a few times and that always happens when I do. Just be careful next time and apply enough pressure inward when pinning
Solid bro:-) this just happened to me today exactly as u described. Tell u what tho I still had a crazy ass workout on my delts today pip or not. I'm pinning 3mls anyway a lil drip ain't nothing to sweat. Neither is pip. I kind of miss it now. Used to always get it when I was learning now I don't have it as much. It reminds me of the good ol days
