How much Cardio is too much cardio?

Is it possible to do too much cardiovascular?

I don't do a lot of cardio right now due to the fact that I don't wanna burn off too many calories. high quality and quanity calories is what brings on the mass along with a good routine and rest. Rite now I only run 1 day a week, on my leg day. So it depends on what you're going for mass or cut. If you wanna cut down I would sugest no more than an hour of cardio at a time. If you wanna do more cardio try 2 a days. just don't burn yourself out tryin to do too much too fast. Results take time.

I do a lot of cardio, primarily it is high intensity explosive stuff with a prowler, kettlebells, hill sprints, or other stuff that improves cardiovascular performance but also seemingly builds muscle. Low intensity running/jogging I am not a fan of. I have done some lower intensity sled work (hooked up some straps to a sled and did presses, curls, tricep extensions, rows, stuff like that) and it got me pretty lean and I did it everyday with beneficial effects on strength, size, and recovery. I have also done brisk morning walks (before eating anything for the day, I did take 10 grams of BCAA though) everyday with good results. I would just avoid jogging personally.

...the kid is 20 (and 'probably' juicing) so it's pretty much implied that he's a massive twat (LOL)

the only stupid question is the unasked one, kid... this is NOT a BB site but a review site and we have ppl here for countless reasons at several different stages... and by being a DICK to them you may run them off from the only place that could keep them from seriously fucking themselves up... I'm sure your cool and funny to ur other 20yr old juiced up knucklehead friends but that shit don't float here. we take this stuff seriously. you want to talk shit, take it to off topic.

...and trust me, Sarge has u beat on knowledge AND experience

hey bro, we try and maintain a sense of community around here. if u can't contribute without being a dick THEN DON'T CONTRIBUTE!

Why not 30-40min is ok.Cardio helps the blood circulation ,so the result is more veins better pump. But when we talk about cardio we dont mean 30 walking like a dead{the most of people do this for 1hour} the treamell {my opinion and i check it for my results} must be 10km/hr and up exept you H.I. {5min walk 2-3min fast runing like sprinders}!

Your question makes no sense. If you are running and you die because your heart stopped then you did too much cardio.

Try describing your workout routine, diet, gear, and goals for a better response.

That's somewhat better. Suggestions:
1. dump all the sups except the creatine because that's useful when on anavar. the rest are a waste of money.
2. if you are using clen, you don't need green tea, or hydroxycut
3. you can't possible do too much cardio on a recumbent bike, I do 90 mins on a spin bike with ass out of the seat, and I've gained 5lbs of muscle this last cycle
4. var and proviron are going to be mostly a waste of money (and will shut down your natural testosterone production which can be counter productive) unless you have a base of testosterone in the cycle- recommend at least 150-200mg test-c or test-e per wk. there's a reason no serious athlete or bodybuilder does oral only cycles. If you can't do the testosterone, do not do the proviron. No testosterone and you will lose muscle doing all this.
5. get at least 1 - 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight spread out during the day. this should include 30grams whey only before and after workouts- especially cardio since it is rapidly absorbed and anti-catabolic. Casein protein should be used before bed up to 50 grams because it has the slowest absorption rate.

I would say that depends on the person and their goal. Example-when cutting I do 6 days a week cardio with my lifting; when bulking I gauge my cardio need on how lean my diet is keeping me, usually about 3 times a week. 30 min on elyptical is enough for me each session. If cardio is cutting into gains or slowing recovery then yes it will be too much, but each persons body I'd different.
